Wyoming athletics announced today that the Wyoming basketball team will host an open scrimmage starting at 11:30am on October 17 in Arena Auditorium. The scrimmage will take place before the 2:00 game vs Nevada in War Memorial.
The Cowboys will debut a lot of new faces this year, so this is the fans chance to get to know some of the new faces. The Cowboys, who graduated five seniors from last year’s Mountain West championship team, will have a mostly new starting rotation. The one face fans will remember is guard Josh Adams, the lone returning starter for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys will open the season with an exhibition on November 7th vs Fort Lewis. The Cowboys will raise their championship banner that night before the game.
