Hey gang!

Site has a few updates to it. The first one you might notice is in the forum where we now have WyoNation forum icons, instead of the default phpBB3 icons. It's a nice touch to customize the board a little bit. There is also a new module on the main page. Middle column, all the way down. Shows the Wyoming basketball schedule, stats, a Google map of the other colleges we've played, etc. Cool little widget shown to me by Jeremy, who runs the Portland State Fans Forum (linked on the main page). Thanks to him for that.  The site has quite a few updates done with the latest game results, as well as the main page article. Also, if you have a Cowboy related blog, PM me on the forum and we'll see about posting it. Other than that, thanks for visiting and let's make this the #1 Wyoming Cowboy site on the 'net!

Hey Gang!  

Here's some updates for you.  First, we're working on incorporating a blog section. A couple of users have expressed interest in blogging for the site, so here's the chance! There is a link on the main page, and once the permissions are setup accordingly, there will be blogs. This is exciting stuff.

Second, I have added an item to the main menu called "Cowboy Sports."  This is where I will keep track of the various sports teams at UW, schedule, standings, etc. Maybe even do a little bit of history!  Right now it's football, basketball, and wrestling. Want to see something else? Tell me.

Third, remember that we have a site store now, complete with all WyoNation merchandise. It's such a thing in the future that I will look into WyoNation hats, beanies, and sweatshirts... and polo shirts!  Any takers?  Let me know.

Fourth, the basketball schedule is on the main page now, the men's schedule anyways. Keep an eye on that for updates on the scores. Soon enough I will have the MWC standings.. probably when football season is over.  More things coming, I'm sure. Let's spread the word and give 'em hell!  Powder River, let 'er buck!

The main site is once again, completely updated with all of the newest stuff concerning Wyoming, the Mountain West and other things. A couple of new links have been added to the links section, Cowboy Blitz and the official Mountain West site. Cowboy Blitz is an up-and-coming Wyoming Cowboys site and forum. The articles contained there are mostly recruiting based and different recruits the Cowboys are looking at, and offers some Q and A with some of the recruits. Pretty good info. You all know what the MWC site is, so no explanation needed.

A couple of new features to the site, with one being the "About Wyoming" section with different factoids about the university and its facilities. If anyone has any further info to add to the section, post it in the forum and we'll incorporate it in there. The more info about this great state and it's university, the better! We've also added a couple new pictures to the rotation. If there are any user submitted ones you'd like to see there, post them in the forum and we'll add them. We've also added a YouTube video section where we feature a YouTube video of Wyoming athletics. The current one was shot by a member of the GoWyoGo board at the Ohio game. It features the team singing Ragtime Cowboy Joe to the Wyoming fans that made the trip. If you'd like some videos added, get out there and shoot them, post 'em to YouTube and we'll feature your video on the main page. Get those cameras rolling!

Some new things we're looking at adding to the site is WyoNation.com merchandise, featuring hats, shirts, and pretty much anything else. The hats and shirts will feature the WyoNation logos and lettering, and they will look pretty frickin' sweet!  Most of the merchandise will come from CafePress's website. Another new feature we want to add is user photo galleries to the forum. This would enable those who are registered users of the forum to upload their photos into the gallery for everyone to see. Should be a nice feature once implemented.
