Statues are located at the North Endzone, one called “Fanning a Twister”, a pictures of man riding the famous rodeo horse, Steamboat. The other is called Cowboy Tough done by Chris Navarro.The War is the highest stadium in major college football, sitting at 7220 feet. The largest crowd to see a game at the War is 34,745 vs. Colorado State in 1997.

Nicknamed the Dome of Doom and the Double A.
The largest crowd in the history of the AA was in 2002 when the Cowboys hosted the Utah Utes in a MWC deciding basketball game. The capacity of the game was 16,089.

War Memorial Field House
Built: 1950
The War Memorial Fieldhouse located on the campus of the University of Wyoming is located right behind War Memorial Stadium. The Fieldhouse plays host to a number of events, including UW indoor track and also hosts the Cowboy Open as part of the UW wrestling team. Bleachers fill the top portion of the fieldhouse for the onlookers attending the event.

Built: 2007
The new indoor practice facility being built on the campus of the University will house the athletics practices during the inclement of weather that is so popular in Laramie. The facility is part of the strategic plan by the athletics department to improve the state of UW athletics.

UniWYO Sports Complex
Built: 1984
The UniWYO Sports Complex is home to Cowboy wrestling, Cowgirl volleyball, and the wrestling practice room. A gift in 2005 of $1 million dollars was paid to renovate the complex and change the name from the multipurpose gym.

Corbett Pool plays host to the Cowboy and Cowgirl swim teams.

Jacoby Golf Course
Built: 1972
Jacoby Golf Course is home to the Cowboy and Cowgirl golfers. The course is mostly used for practice as the weather in Wyoming doesn’t often cooperate to host tournaments in the spring. The 18 hole course sits near the University.

Louis Madrid Sports Complex
Built: 1999
The Madrid Sports Complex is home to the Cowboy and Cowgirl track teams as well as the Cowgirl soccer team.

UW Tennis Complex
Built: 2011
The UW Outdoor tennis courts is home to the Cowgirl tennis team.

rochelle
Rochelle Athletics Center
Built: 2001
The Rochelle Athletics Center was built for the purpose of giving the Cowboy and Cowgirl student athletes a place to study, a sports medicine clinic, a strength and conditioning area, as well as and locker room for the Cowboy football team. The RAC was built on the biggest donation in University history.
