Re: The Josh Allen trampoline effect, or the lack of one?
I remember Allen being injured during the Easter Michigan game as well, however, a "cheap shot" was the last thing that happened on the play that injured him and put him out for the year. Allen was charging hard up the field, lowered his shoulder, and was met by a collision from a linebac...

Re: The Josh Allen trampoline effect, or the lack of one?
The Josh Allen prototype here at UW is a once in a lifetime thing....i still wish he woulda had better receivers to have gotten the ball too and Also wish Brian Hill woulda stayed 1 more year with him for a better 1,2 punch....its fun seeing him in nfl, just hope he doesn't get hurt I can recall he...

Re: Track the Former Pokes
Valladay has a heck of game in AZ St’s upset over Washington. I thought perhaps swen would fill his role a little more but it’s looking like we missing him quite a bit. X and Sven were a great combo. Valladay probably had to transfer in order to have any chance at being drafted (at best a 5th round...

My son-in-law is professor in NM Department of Medicine and is worried that he will have hide his Wyoming gear in shame if the Pokes don't win this one. Apparently it is well known he is a proud UW grad.

Re: Brent Vigen
I bet Bohl would like my uncles Snake T offense from idaho. I heard it's a combination of Veer and Wing T. Something like 11 state championships now and every school he's coached has won a state championship. Would wyoming fans be ok with not throwing ball if it meant being like Air Force. More suc...

Re: Absolutely disgusting effort
Peasley was way way off today. Clemons may soon see his opportunity. Our chances were there in the pass game they were just missed badly. Now I do agree with you on the latter part of your statement. I personally believe because of our coaches philosophy that the o-line heavily practices run blocki...

Re: New coach picks
Maybe the problem isn't just the coaches, but the AD who selects, hires, extends said coaches. Moon took over in 1996, Tiller's last year. He hired Dimel (.657 winning percentage), Koenning (.147 winning percentage) and Glenn (.423 winning percentage). Moon leaves, and in come Tommy boy. He fires G...

Re: Guess the crowd!
I guessed 18000-20000. Weather not so great , SJSU not a team a lot of people know or care about, evening start time and opening day of hunting season in many areas. If they had beaten BYU I would have expected over 24000.

Re: More conference re-alignment rumors
I'm fairly certain that if the B1G were to get all 4 of their targets the PAC and MW would be working furiously on a merger. The PAC has a MUCH better media package than we do, and we would most likely want to keep that. Unfortunately if that happens Wyoming would be one of the teams left out. Not ...

Me too. I even thought his brother was better than Tashaun. But what do I know, I thought Epps was a good college safety but would never make it in the pros.

I still think cheyenne gunslinger is Dino but that's just me. Nobody should have to defend their WYO fandom other than the obvious byu trolls this past week. Nah Cheyenne Gunslinger isn’t Dino. Dino couldn’t go 10 seconds without some self promotion let alone years. I like Gunslinger. A Wyoming fan...

Re: Defensive Secondary
Cam Stone nearly had a pick on a back shoulder throw and it’s only a miracle they came up with it. I think they’re all too new. I’d have to rewatch but throwing a 50 yard pass isn’t “getting burned” in the secondary if the QB has 5 seconds to throw. If you only rush 4, you better get pressure and y...

Re: Going forward.
The run defense is solid but we really need help against teams that have a decent passing attack. Wyoming's offense is almost the polar opposite- solid in the run game but unable to pass consistently. Peasley is ok on short passes but has accuracy issues on anything more than 10 yards downfield. I w...

We’re 1-0 in conference. That’s it. 1-0. Let’s bring this thread back up in 2 months and see where we are. Are you saying we are going to falter? What will our conference record be? Call it now I have no idea. We trounced USU last year and went 2-6 in conference. One game does not make a season. I ...

Re: UNC game
2 offensive TDs in 10 quarters. Still without a rushing TD. Sad thing is we’ve got a pretty accurate QB, who’s decision making is pretty decent the last game and a half, and he’s got all day to throw. I sat in the stands and watched. Peasley simply was not accurate on throws downfield. He is ok on ...

Re: Reece Monaco play by play- Ouch
Was up in the mountains during the game and we all sat and listened to the game on the radio. That was hands down the worst called game I have ever endured. I like Reece and think he does fine on the sidelines, but holy cow that was a tough listen. Many times of the game we had absolutely no clue w...

Re: Fire Bohl
Meh. Still so many baffling things about this game. We still have as many defensive TDs as offensive. We still don’t have a rushing TD. We’re still getting gashed on D overall. Hell of a game, and a wins a win, but this doesn’t exonerate Bohl in my eyes. One thing I have to give him credit for is h...
