Re: Missouri Game
I always wondered why it seemed like Christensen was so liked at Missouri. Quite frankly, he was a big jerk at Wyoming to players and boosters alike. I think having Chase Daniel, Jeremy Maclin and Chase Coffman had more to do with the success at Missouri than him. It was so strange when he was the ...

Re: Coug fan coming to Laramie tomorrow!
There's a free parking lot on campus between East Ivinson and East Grand Ave on 14th Street. It's across from the Alumni House and the main campus. It's open and free on the weekends and usually plenty of open spaces. It's just off main campus and about a half-mile to War Memorial.

Re: Tony Romo!!! You gotta be kidding me
Tony knows his stuff. His insight to the game is phenomenal. He'll get his style down and have a great broadcasting career. He'll have his detractors and he'll have his fans. To each his own. Put down on the fan side of the ledger.

Re: Barrel Man
This discussion reminds me of the time Wyoming went to Charlottesville to play Virginia. Ken was there and wanted to go in wearing the barrel but UVA security denied him entrance, so he had to go dressed as a "normal" fan. I talked to him after the game and he was bummed by not only the ov...

Re: Fire Vigen
Can't believe 4 turnovers = 3 points. Allen played extremely well considering. The wide receivers need to drink some 4 hour energy. Oline played well. Special teams not good. Defense was incredible, our man coverage needs some work. On the one touchdown to the seam tightend, that was on the scheme....

Re: Pokes will be ok!!! like '87,'93
Actually, this aint like 1987 but it is like 1993. In 1987 we beat Air Force in the opener in Laramie, 37-13, before losing to both Wazzu (@ Pullman) and Okie State (in Laramie) before turning things around and winning the next 9 games before losing to Iowa in the 1987 Holiday Bowl. In 1993, howeve...

Re: Scouting the Hawkeyes.....
Great analysis carbonpoke! You've put a lot of thought into it. Bravo! I'm not worried about losing the great senior receivers of last season because, as you said, the Pokes have a very balanced attack. Several of the Iowa fans are fixated on the loss of Gentry, Maulhardt, and Hollister, thinking th...

Re: Visiting War Memorial
The visiting team enters the field from north of the west lower strands. The best way to see them is to be in the area just north of the stands and grab a spot along the temporary fence leading to the field. They'll be able to high five a lot of the players coming in.
