Re: Polasek a Possibility for KSU OC
Overall - I'm not sure what a Polasek departure would mean for Wyoming. Personally, I hope he stays and we get to see him next year and see what he can do with a full year of preparing for a Levi Williams led offense. If the offense struggles next year, then that could be the end of the Bohl era re...

What Wyoming Fans Want From a Head Ball Coach
It’s time for the annual “Fire coach xxxx,” posts so I thought I’d throw this out there. Over the years I’ve been keeping a mental note of all the things fans imply they want in their Wyoming head football coach. Keep in mind this isn’t my personal list, just what I see on message boards and social ...

Re: Denver University, Thursday, December 2nd, 7:00 p.m....Help turn the AA into the "Dome of Doom" again.
Watching this team grow last spring was way fun. This year's team seems more mature, but it looks like we've hit a plateau, where instead of all 5 executing our offense, it's easier to watch maldo create and then react. My vague recollection of northern colorado under Linder was that they screened ...

Re: Defense was good
Our offense desperately needs the defense to set them up with good field position and turnovers. And there just haven't been many of those lately. Turnovers aren't easy to come by at times. I agree 100% with that statement. We rank 102nd in the country in starting field position for offensive drive...

Re: Defense was good
Deserves to be up on the front page. These guys played well enough to win. Well done, men I hate to throw water on this because it really looks like they played well but I think they tuned it down a lot to make sure they didn’t make any mistakes to help our bad. I watched the BSU/BYU game and eithe...

Re: The reason we lost.
Of ballpark 7 punts, I only remember 2 or maybe 3 of those where a penalty directly "led" to a punt. Other drives had penalties to be sure but POKES were able to get first downs which somewhat negates the impact of the penalty, imo. Even the 2 or 3 that "led" to a punt, I think ...

Re: Neyor, need other routes instead of the fad.
He's been targeted on 61 pass attempts this season (caught 26). That's about 27% of our pass attempts going his way. Those weren't all fade routes. I think they're trying to get him the ball a bunch. QB play hasn't been able to accurately deliver him the ball. To put that into perspective, 61 target...

Re: It's time: The Vigen Apology Thread
It will be interesting to watch this weekend. I'm betting we go back to a Vigen-like offense for the rest of the season. We will definitely be running 9/10 times now come hell or high water we’re establishing the run. Bohl seems to think establishing the run will open the pass but the problem is th...

Re: Home Opener vs. Montana State
Bobcat Fan & Alum here…… My wife and I will be at the game and are planning on camping near hot springs & fishing our way back to Bozeman for the CATS home opener on Sep 11th. We’re planning on stops in Saratoga, maybe Alcova, (N Platte), Thermopolis (Bighorn/Wind) and Jackson (Snake). Any ...

Re: Vigen-Bohl relationship question
...they have a "very complicated offense." From what I can tell they have about five plays. To Vigen five plays is complicated. This is what I’ve noticed and about the only way I can explain it from another OC perspective. Take a Dive play up the middle. Each specific Dive is individualiz...

Here is a youtube of his postgame If Craig really needs to look at the tape in order to determine what happened last night, I question his coaching IQ. Listen, this is not rocket science Craig. We better find some rhythm, and a couple players who want...

"It is clear that NOBODY is coming into Laramie and pulling an "Urban Meyer". The dumbest thing we can do is start burning the bandwagon. Jump off if you wish, but don't burn it. Only thing we haven't tried is giving a coach extra time. I'm 100% convinced WYO football can't be built i...

Re: Fire Vigen
Iowa is a middling at best Big 10 team. Some of you act like they are the goddamn 85 Bears on defense. I could argue that you're acting like we're the Greatest Show On Turf. Still don't see anything coherent on why we should fire Vigen. Do you remember Billy Cockhill? Not a great performance, but I...

Long-time reader, first-time poster. I get that this is a place for fans to vent, but anyone who thinks we should fire Vigen is an idiot, plain and simple. Not saying we put on a great offensive performance today, but please keep in mind this is likely the best defense we'll play all year. Thanks f...
