Re: Bohl retiring?
Just got back from running errands. I too thought Bohl would do one more year, but I guess with all the shake ups and such, he didn't want to do that anymore. I can only imagine the amount of stress that puts on someone. It is a continuity hire, which helps keep the program stable. I just hope the o...

Re: Josh Allen beats down the Fins
The Bills helped straighten out Josh's footwork issues and going through the paces. Since they had just gotten a new staff, and reassurances that they would get a few years, minimum, to develop their new team, they were able to develop Josh. I'm not saying Josh isn't talented, far from it. But he di...

Re: 10/7 vs. Fresno State
A big win, for sure. The lack of points in the second half is concerning, though.

Not being on.
The last year or so, I have not been that active on here, and sporadic elsewhere. The reason being is, well, a few. Last Christmas, my mom, whom had MS, was rushed to the hospital due to a major blood infection. We all thought this would do her in, but she was able to come out of it, after 3 weeks i...

Re: Anybody have a pic of the 1968 WAC family portrait?
Resurrecting this old thing.... because I found a bunch of these today after the WAC one got posted up in my Twitter mentions. https://twitter.com/nocontextcfb/status/1640779662115872769 Yes, thank you! :thumb: And, dear God, I didn't even think about the Ute stereotype that would be used for this....

And some of us never had a team to really root for either, and didn't want to jump on the Donk's bandwagon.DamThatRiver22 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 01, 2023 7:39 amNot true.flyfishwyo wrote: ↑Mon Jan 23, 2023 11:22 am Anyone else wearing an Allen jersey in Laramie is just another disgruntled Broncos fan.

Re: Bills/Bengals
I don't disagree. Bills have as much upside as any team and may be the most dangerous team when they are clicking. Allen's turnovers and Miller getting hurt I think are a couple big factors involved in the inconsistency. On the flip side, Allen playing lights out is when they look like contenders. ...

Re: Bills/Bengals
I'm not an NFL fan, zero loyalties, but it doesn't stop me from being an observer of the game. I don't care who wins, I just want to see both Allen and Wilson have a great game. Kind of like the kids in "The Sandlot" who don't keep score, it's kind of a pure love of the game without the z...

Re: Gator Collective
Short of something like the out of state millionaires, billionaires, and Pepsi Wyoming suddenly funneling in money, I don't see the school and CJC dishing out even half that kind of money to fresh out of high school kids and players buried on the depth charts at places like Alabama and Georgia.

Yeah. That TD and 2 point conversion is on that idiot that targeted their WR, and in a late hit at that.
While not "professional", the announcers have been pretty interesting.

Re: AZ Bowl Game Info
It is absolutely garbage that the only place to watch the game is a laptop, or in my case, my Ipad. It is pretty easy to stream/mirror it from a phone/computer/tablet to any smart TV or to use a Roku/Chromecast/Apple TV/etc.. for any non-Smart TV. I'll be watching the game on an 80 inch...

Re: Is Bohl Still Our Head Coach?
The bar we need to pass is winning a conference championship. This likely wasn’t possible during the Glenn and DC years due to TCU and Utah becoming major players in college football ( Hell, Utah beat Alabama in a bowl, TCU and UU both had seasons finishing ranked 2nd in the country ). That is not ...

Re: Is Bohl Still Our Head Coach?
DC, Bohl, and Glenn are all about the same. Paying the Bohl the highest salary in the conference for mediocrity is pointless. My as well bring in a Glenn type coach. At least he could play the piano. Bohl at least beat Mizzou. DC went 0-fer while here. Came close against Nebraska one year, but was ...

Re: Is Bohl Still Our Head Coach?
Dana Dimel didn’t have a losing year at UW. Dave Christensen had 8 wins in a regular season. The argument against them isn’t that great. Prime BSU, Utah, BYU, and TCU was tough. Dimel would have had a bowl game each year in the current system. Christensen had to play a team ( Texas ) that played in...

Re: Signing Day
What is evident over the past decade or so is that you are the first person to trash the program and players after every loss but are nowhere to be found after a win. I imagine everyone enjoys you for the holidays as well. As Ragtime so eloquently states, your schtick is old and worn out. He's not ...

Notre Dame, for all the crap that gets thrown their way, does have an impressive academic line, and long collegiate history. Hard not to choose them.

Another DB! The DBs we have signed are tall, which is awesome. Welcome to Wyoming! I have feeling we have signed some studs to the defensive side of the ball. https://twitter.com/wyo_football/status/1605674342641111041?s=20 That is where it is at for DB's...fast, quick, and tall. The opposite of th...

Me, too. I guess I just got a little fired up about the Boomers complaining about the younger generations. I've had a couple of projects fall through lately because senior managers (Boomers) didn't keep their word. I'll scale it back... I automatically assume everyone here is a boomer. Ha ha And to...
