Re: Big Horn living Pokes fans?
The more I think about it we probably have more like 10 polo fields. The Flying H has four, the Equestrian center has four, the original Polo ranch has one and there's one at another ranch. Frankly roses are a bit low brow for us.

Re: Big Horn living Pokes fans?
I used to live in Buffalo grew up there, 1971-1997, love that part of the world, always will, live in Cheyenne now Though I didn't grow up in those areas, I've always thought Sheridan/Buffalo and Lander were some of the nicest places in Wyoming. They don't mind telling the rest of Wyoming about eit...

Re: The Fieldhouse
Indoor track and field use it daily for practice, otherwise that wouldn't be a bad idea. Not to diss indoor track, but I'm pretty sure hockey would generate far more fan interest and revenue. Very true, I definitely agree with you...but losing indoor track would essentially kill outdoor and thus wo...

They should put a rink in there and start men's and women's hockey.

Re: Maury Brown Court...
Maury Brown (and relatives) has been EXTREMELY successful in buying up Converse County federal oil and gas leases prior to and during the recent boom. His income stream (while large now) is almost undoubtedly still on the way UP. ...and you don't have to drill to make a ton of money. A 5% overridin...

You forgot to add in the value of being 400 miles closer to his favorite vacation spot, which is priceless.
So in essence he's making infinity. If that ain't stepping up I don't know what is.

Re: Its Bohl!
Big win for Burman. Bohl is a homerun hire. If you can have success in Fargo you can certainly bring that mentality to Laramie. I love how tough Bohl's teams play, and I can't wait to see him bring "Cowboy Tough" back to our program! How is this different than the Joe Glenn homerun hire? ...

Re: Its Bohl!
Before we declare him Glenn Part 2 it might be good to remember that Glenn had zero experience at the FBS level in any capacity. That's not the case with Bohl.

Re: Next round of realignment just started
Why does everyone have their panties in a bunch about this? We know there's virtually no chance of Wyoming getting called up and, in reality, we won't be in a materially different position once it all shakes out. Just sit back and enjoy byu's anguish as they wait for that call that never comes.

Interesting quote
from Coach Christensen at the CJC function this evening in Sheridan:
"Don't worry about the quarterback. We've got three quarterbacks in the program now that are better than any I've had since I've been here."
I got the sense he might be getting sick of the question.

Now he's tweeting about his dog chasing a fly around the room. I want the 3 minutes it took to track him down on twitter back.

Re: Dunlap .....
Yeah. I should have been more specific. Gosar just won a championship and it doesn't seem like he gets credit for being a HC. I should have said since Taylor has taken a D1 school and built a program, that's what gives him a edge over Dunlap. I personally prefer Dunlap. But would love to get either...

I think Taylor has the upper hand right now because he is a HC already whereas Dunlap doesn't have HC experience.
He's got 12+ years as a HC, albeit at a lower level.
