What kind of world do you live in that someone who failed was still a "good hire"?

Of course Burman's going to be "involved" in the hire. He'll have final say. That's what ADs do.

And that's not a travesty. He made a good hire in Christensen, though it didn't work out. We all hope there's another hire of someone at that level, but that this next one does pan out.

Maybe I'm just not smoking the same stuff as you, but that makes zero sense. Christensen was a good hire, and other than that- what?
