Seems Brady Hoke is in a little hot water over the way he handled a potential concussion against Minnesota. His QB heard his name called and went back out for one play. If these people only knew what Air Force does on a regular basis....

Interesting...I saw that Sunday, that the media was preparing to skewer him over this. And it may be the easy out Michigan is looking for...if they are looking for it.
Dear Karma,

I have a list of people you missed...

Have to wonder where he'll end up afterwards. UNLV and Hawaii (maybe even UNM) will be looking for new head coaches before long. He did well at SDSU and Ball State. Rocky Long has kept up the success at SDSU, though SDSU fans are wishing he would do better in OOC and bowl games.

It was bad, you guys. Watch this video. It's a bit long, but it gives the full context

Part of statement from the AD:

In the fourth quarter, Shane took a significant hit and stumbled after getting up. From the field level and without the benefit of replays, medical and coaching staffs did not see the hit. Because they did not see the hit, the athletic training staff believed Shane stumbled because of his ankle injury. The team neurologist, watching from further down the field, also did not see the hit. However, the neurologist, with expertise in detecting signs of concussion, saw Shane stumble and determined he needed to head down the sideline to evaluate Shane.

Shane came off the field after the following play and was reassessed by the head athletic trainer for the ankle injury. Since the athletic trainer had not seen the hit to the chin and was not aware that a neurological evaluation was necessary, he cleared Shane for one additional play.

The neurologist and other team physicians were not aware that Shane was being asked to return to the field, and Shane left the bench when he heard his name called and went back into the game. Under these circumstances, a player should not be allowed to re-enter the game before being cleared by the team physician. This clearly identifies the need for improvements in our sideline and communication processes.

Following the game, a comprehensive concussion evaluation was completed and Shane has been evaluated twice since the game. As of Sunday, Shane was diagnosed with a probable, mild concussion, and a high ankle sprain. That probable concussion diagnosis was not at all clear on the field on Saturday or in the examination that was conducted post-game. Unfortunately, there was inadequate communication between our physicians and medical staff and Coach Hoke was not provided the updated diagnosis before making a public statement on Monday. This is another mistake that cannot occur again.

So 2 players in 2 years for Air Force deal with the same poop but because they aren't Michigan it's not important. If this comes down to getting Hoke fired Calhoun should have been jobless long before.

ESPN stands for Eastern Sports Pussy network, meaning if it happens West of the Mississippi in sports it doesn't really happen, like a tree falling in the woods with no one to hear it...lol

If they were winning it wouldn't have been such a huge deal........people want him and the AD out. Although I am shocked as to not really hearing a thing about AF.

Maybe someone who is computer savvy can put together a video compilation of the hits on the AF players, them being knocked out, and then playing again? That can get sent to ESPN and other sports sources to pass around...along with Youtube.

These need to come to light. Because Howdy Doody is endangering the health, both physically and mentally, of his players by doing this. It's blatantly obvious that both kids were knocked out, which by default means they suffered a concussion. And yet both players were put back into the game shortly after. Hoke is not the only one that should be investigated.
