I see the top 4 being Oregon, Florida State, TCU & Alabama in no specific order. Alabama will probably leap over Oregon but they shouldn't.cali2wyo wrote:So how do you guys think the poll will look this week? I see Alabama leap frogging TCU for 2nd and 3rd behind Oregon (assuming Miami hangs on). Will Mississippi state stay in the top 4?
Miss St will drop down to between 6-8.

This is what CSU needs to happen if SDSU wins it helps CSU but Marshall will still end up as the highest rated G5.J-Rod wrote:SDSU is blowing out Boise. Rocky Long could write a book on how to beat Boise.

Isn't Marshall's SOS steaming garbage though?Wyo2dal wrote:This is what CSU needs to happen if SDSU wins it helps CSU but Marshall will still end up as the highest rated G5.J-Rod wrote:SDSU is blowing out Boise. Rocky Long could write a book on how to beat Boise.
Also, seeing how much trouble BSU is having trying to stuff Pumphrey and SDSU's run game, I'm feeling more comfortable about our chances against them, as Hill, who may not be as explosive as Pumphrey, is bigger, stronger, and can push piles. And if Wick is back (a big if there, I know), that gives us 2 bruisers at running back to pound at BSU. Plus from what I've seen, Kirk looks to be a better QB than SDSU's. Because we run a very similar offense to SDSU (in terms of what both teams want to do) and an aggressive defense (despite being seriously depleted, they've been getting better overall), we may have a chance against BSU. UNM, their defense is about as water proof as a colander, and if our defense can do to UNM what they did to Air Force, we may have a hard fought win there too.

And the head to head power running that BSU has often struggled with as well from them.J-Rod wrote:Boise isn't having huge issues with the SDSU run game, it's the 3-3-5 that's killing them.....again.

If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

Watched a bit of the OU-Texas Tech on TV while in Tulsa yesterday. After OU figured out that TTU had zilch for a rushing defense, OU rammed it down the Red Raiders throat and beat them after being down 21-7.
Hell, Hill coulda ran for 400+ yards on TTU's defense yesterday without even trying.
