I did fantasy football a few years back with 8 people for the NFL- punters and kickers only lol
Was fun honestly! on that thought....
Who were your favorite kicker and punter at UW all time!?
For sure my kicker is Deric Yaussi (I've only seen games since 2000 ish or so)
Punter would be Autin Mccoy..?
Random thought...

Sean Fleming. He kicked the winning field goal over AFA in 1988 in a instant classic, 48-45.

I've always wondered how he didn't have a longer career. He was a 70% kicker which isn't exactly bad I think it may have been a distance issue in the NFL but he was good for Wyoming.LanderPoke wrote:Aaron Elling. His mom lives here in Lander and is really nice.

Yeah she's got a picture up in her store of him while he was on the Vikings. Said he was friends with Randy Moss.Wyo2dal wrote:I've always wondered how he didn't have a longer career. Aaron was a nice guy when I met him. My first landlord in the U.S. was his dad, and I lived behind his house in Riverton. His dad took me fishing a bunch of times up in the mountains while Aaron was at camp (at UW) and stuff. I think I became his stand-in [and inferior] son for a bit.LanderPoke wrote:Yeah she's got a picture up in her store of him while he was on the Vikings. Sean Fleming here too. He was working at the Buckhorn the day I graduated and made me about 10 of he weirdest shots I've ever had.Wyokie wrote:Sean Fleming. He kicked the winning field goal over AFA in 1988 in a instant classic, 48-45.
He was a good kicker too.....CFL hall of fame?
Aaron had a couple injuries while in the League that only made things harder. Broken ankle while with the Vikings and then later on he hurt his knee making a tackle while he was with Cincy. I grew up with Aaron in Lander and lived with him in Laramie. Good guy. Doing well for himself in Michigan.Wyo2dal wrote:I've always wondered how he didn't have a longer career. Jack Weil. Dated a girl that graduated from my high school and she brought him home to watch one of our high school practices. He came down on the field and punted the ball 50 plus yards a couple of times and left. Being the 15-18 year olds we were we all stood and watched in amazement!
