The last time ESPN came to Laramie, the electricity went off for three hours.

Humiliating. ESPN made jokes about from their studio for a while, then cancelled their telecast.

Yes it was. I was a 16-year-old usher by the visiting Ute fans and they couldn't have been douchier about the whole situation.

Don't they have to unless we accept their buy-out offer?

No, buyouts are pre-negotiated and already part of agreement to play.

Oregon 2017 is a good one. Missouri 2019. Texas Tech 2022. Obviously that last one is way down the line.
Love your idea of Oregon in 2017, J-Rod...that'd be a biggie.
Seems to me it has nothing to do with the venue matchup. When NDSU had CGD, our opponents were Delaware State and Incarnate Word, two lower tier FCS teams.

IMHO, I think Wyoming's best shot for CGD is to beat a P5 team like Washington State, have rising attendance and finish over .500 this year. Then in 2016, knock off a ranked Nebraska team. The story for the UC Davis game that follows the Neb. game would be that Craig Bohl is building another dynasty in Wyoming as he just slayed the giant that is his alma mater in their house.

Just my two cents.
Hayduke, don't be a tool,
Take your sad song and make it better.
Remember to let Bison into your heart,
Than you can start to make it better.

The Wyoming-UC Davis game is schedule for Sept. 17, 2016.

Other games that day that would be a bigger draw for Gameday:

Ohio State @ Oklahoma
Michigan State @ Notre Dame
Oregon @ Nebraska
Probably at least one SEC @ SEC matchup.

Don't be fooled, while Bohl built a great thing at NDSU, the times Gameday went there was in part because there were no other big games in the country that week. Wyo is going to need a lot more than a few wins and a good opponent to get Gameday to Laramie, they are going to need the stars to align a bit.

Chris Fallica, the guy who runs Gameday, seems to really like Bohl and NDSU. You never know...

But yeah, typically you need the stars to align for a non-P5 to get CGD.
