Nothing risky about it, In fact it's the smartest move he could have made. He leads the AFC in interceptions for the third year after being an UDFA he will make bank. If he signed a mediocre contract for two years his value would diminish. I don't think he will be a Brown next year with the secondary they have and the fact they low balled him they won't want to pony up the 7-9 million contract.LanderPoke wrote:Risky move imo. I think the risk of injury in the NFL is so great that it's almost always a bad idea to not take the $$.
