As Craig Bohl implements his system at Wyoming, more players leave the program.

It may seem like a paradox.

But it’s to be expected.

“As you impart your philosophy and your standards for your team members, there’s attrition and fallout,” San Jose State coach Ron Caragher said.

Aside from graduating seniors, Bohl, entering his second season with the Cowboys, lost roughly 10 percent of his 2014 roster.

Offensive linemen Sam Hardy, Jake Jones and Austin Traphagan, cornerbacks Tim Hayes and Ryon’e Winters, linebacker Jeff Lark, defensive end Jonathan Kongbo, quarterback Austin Fort and running back Omar Stover all left the program during the offseason.

But that hasn’t been cause for concern, Bohl said.
