Not only did NU miss him, UW did as well. Did he pick us or the other way around? Why wasn't he offered? Looks like a monster.

He picked Wyoming. I know he visited K-St and pretty sure he had walk-on offer from them. There were 3 University Nebraska Kearney coaches at one of his basketball games a couple weeks ago so thinking they had to be serious about him with 3 coaches showing up.

There are a few, but it doesn't happen nearly as often as 11-man. Rashaan Salaam (Heisman Trophy winner) and Chad Greenway (2-time Pro Bowler) are 2 examples of 8-man players that turned out to be pretty good.
Normally not one to bump a thread, but Dustin Weeks from this year's class played 9-man football at Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn HS in North Dakota.
