Russell Dennison is the new Director of Sports Performance. He's coming to us from Oklahoma where he was the asst S&T for the football program. Also played football for the Sooners. Should bring some terrific knowledge to the program.

Well of course...but that is with anything. Initially, my impression, this is a solid hire...with a solid background, and all the knowledge / skill necessary to take the football strength program at WYO to the next level.

His past experience should serve him well in preparing guys for the style of O Bohl wants to run. Being associated with one of the premiere programs in the country is an appealing background. Looking forward to seeing him get up and running at WYO!!

First job is to get all the slogans off the walls.
You can tell how big a person is by what it takes to discourage him/her.

And the tobacco.

I couldn't figure out how someone who should be a model of how someone takes care of their mind and body was able to chew and spit in front of his players and feel good about it.

All the players are adults. We are not BYU or one of the other Utah schools, a certain amount of vices are expected from the average individual. That's like saying someone is a bad role model for getting drunk once a week when they are an md. Sure it is bad for you but adults can make their own decisions.

I'd agree with you if he wasn't in charge of putting bodies in peak physical condition and making sure nutrition is on point.

The vices deemed "acceptable" shouldn't be the ones directly related to your job.

Also, to make your MD comparison fair, the MD would have to be drinking while at work and seeing patients.

He didn't seem jacked for a master strength and conditioning coach
“Being around Colorado State, I saw that football wasn’t really a big sport there," Parker said Sunday night.
