Think we can get four wins? I'd hope so, or Bohl might be in his last year. Hate to see that happen.

I think we will. We have too potent of an offense not to. Once again I am putting a lot of confidence in Josh Allen.

Regardless, he better not be in his last year. He needs at least 3 more - to see if he can make it work. It's a 6 year deal...I have always thought that. And considering his first class was put together in about a month, maybe a 7 year deal.

I thought it was interesting to look at Jim Grobe's records & data at Wake in light of his recent hiring at Baylor (and to think about him, in comparison to Wyoming firing Joe Glenn, hiring Dickface, firing Dickface, and hiring 'Ol Bohly):

2001 6–5 3–5 7th
2002 7–6 3–5 7th
2003 5–7 3–5 7th
2004 4–7 1–7 T–10th
2005 4–7 3–5 T–4th
2006 11–3 6–2 1st
2007 9–4 5–3 T–2nd
2008 8–5 4–4 T–3rd
2009 5–7 3–5 4th
2010 3–9 1–7 6th
2011 6–7 5–3 T–2nd
2012 5–7 3–5 4th
2013 4–8 2–6 6th
Dear Karma,

I have a list of people you missed...

I wouldn't. UNM may have the easiest schedule in all of college football. This will be the first year that Davie will have a UNM team with almost all of his own recruits geared toward his option scheme.

To win that bet, UNM would have to only win 6 games...which would be fairly bad considering their schedule.

My bet would be the OVER on Fresno State's 3.5 wins. Outside of Nebraska, Fresno's non-conference schedule is not overly difficult. Plus they have favorable conference home games against Hawaii and SJSU. I predict a rebound for Fresno.

What about CSU's 5.5? It would be pretty disappointing if they only won five games. Please let it be so

I really believe we will get at LEAST 5 wins this year. Josh has the tools to be a very good pro-style QB, we get arguably the best receiver in the conference back this year along with a highly recruited receiver that happened to play basketball (hope he is a quick learner), our tight ends have shown that they can contribute in both blocking and receiving, then there is our stable of beasts in the backfield. If Hill and Wick can avoid the injury bug, we may have our "Thunder & Lightning 2.0".

I think we may be able to get more pressure on opposing QBs with our DEs and some creative blitzing (pipe-dream, i know). We should be solid with the back 7 with Wacha and Wingard in charge. I am really worried about our ability to stop the run. I just don't see the depth in the front 4 to hold of a "grind-you-to-dust" running game like UNM/AFA....

With a down MWC and our OOC, we should be able to eek out 5 wins with the possibility of bowl eligibility by winning one we shouldn't.

Until our defensive front becomes dominant, we will be average (by design). Clock control, grind offense that generates points per possession... it's all great, but if u can't control the los with our system, look for more growing pains in the win column.

Begging/hoping for 4 wins against our schedule. Damn. Think about that without a brown and gold hat.
