A win this first game could really set the tone for the season. If we get dumptrucked game one, students especially, could pack it in early. Hopefully the pokes can impress.

It seems that the ticket office hasn't really done much promotion, unlike in past years for first games.

There is the $20.00 promotion going on, that they have been pumping out there. Considering the face value of my ticket is $59.00 - that is a kick ass deal.

There is also the Kip Moore concert and Hall of Fame Banquet (Friday the 2nd), and an 8:30pm kickoff (with tailgating opening at noon)...all of which they have promoted decently. The HOF banquet is sold out, with a waiting list of more than 100 trying to get in.
Dear Karma,

I have a list of people you missed...

Speaking of tickets, here's a shameless plug for some free ones!
Are you a AAA member in Cheyenne who's looking for tickets to the home opener against Northern Illinois? If so, stop by the AAA office on Dell Range! We are giving away a Summit View parking pass, 2 hospitality passes, and 2 tickets to the game! The winner must be a AAA member, and cannot be an employee or immediate family of an employee of AAA MountainWest. AAA is a proud sponsor of Wyoming football!
Not gonna lie, I'm pretty excited about this. I've been trying to convince the higher ups to sponsor UW since I got here!

I guess you are right. I just remember the pushes for Montana two years ago and even NoDak last year...they seemed like more active campaigns, with regular updates on how few tickets were left, etc.

It'll probably sell out since we're playing the best football team in the history of college football

Honestly, I would be shocked if we got anything over 18,000 but I have no inside info. Late game, lack of hotel rooms and a team coming off a 2-10 season are all reasons why.

Maybe around 17,000 because of the late start. If they sold beer...22,000 so it wouldn't impact student drinking time so much. :D
