Not a lot of positives for the offense on this one. At times they moved the ball, but just couldn't close the deal. I think they took a major step backwards tonight and fear things could really go south the rest of the year if the coaches don't get things squared up.

There is no next year. This AD and this team are cooked. A hole that is too deep. DI has passed us by. Sounds overly dramatic, but I truly believe this. We got our Saturday's back boys. Pathetic is too kind - we are the also-ran of 1A. 10K max in the stands form here on out (and the joke's on them).

What I find disappointing is the way our offensive line was completely dominated. Someone asked how do you go in motion down on the 1 yard line? Well, when you're afraid of getting beat, maybe you get nervous and jump the gun. We simply cannot win with that kind of offensive line play.

Finally, we haven't had a speed receiver since Herron. We are not going to beat anyone deep this year. It seems that Allen has to throw the ball into some very small windows.

He hasn't mastered the art of slamming into the backs of his guards for one yard gains yet. That's a must in Vigen's offense.
