Tomorrow’s annual University of Wyoming versus Colorado State football game is getting an extra-spicy warm-up party, as two hot wing restaurants on wheels will do battle in the first-ever Food Truck Border War.

Northern Colorado-based Wing Shack will face off with Weitzel’s Wings, aka Double Dub’s, which operates out of southern Wyoming, in a competition to be held at Fort Collins’ Pateros Creek Brewing (242 N. College Ave.). Events will feature a blind hot sauce competition, a wing eating contest, a special beer release from Pateros Creek — its new Border War Whiskey Aged Porter — and tailgating fanfare and revelry.
That sounds like some fun!

If anyone at the game hasn't ahd Double Dubs yet and likes wings, get some of that. They got some delicious stuff. I wanna try that Porter, think any Laramie bars will be getting it?

I have a feeling that if Double Dubs is good, they'll win. Wing Shack is solid, but nothing special.
