Former Wyoming assistant swimming coach, Matt Leach, is also the head swimming coach at ISU.

Just throwing crap against the wall here, but is it possible he was upset that he wasn't promoted to DC and left because of that? Or do you think he would have taken this opportunity anyway?

I would tend to guess that there is a significant pay increase as a head football coach of an FCS school (albeit not a very good one) over the secondary coach position at Wyoming.

Caveat: Assuming that Aaron Young does not decide to declare early for the NFL draft.

Good call. He is the master of social media manipulation. Hell, he fooled Bohl et al, certainly he can fool some NFL toolbag scout for the Browns, Niners, or Lambs!

The last ISU coach averaged $210,000 on his contract. Mallory made $170,250 last year.

We have had great luck recruiting Illinois lately...maybe we should find a young up and coming guy with roots/ties to that area?

Is this good for bad for us, I know a step up for him is great, but I'm not really a fan of anything Indiana, lol

I think it's a good sign that schools want to hire assistants away from us.
