Nice weather, several games before opening day of hunting season, and Oregon at home should make for pretty solid attendance next year.

That's good news.
Wyoming Cowboy basketball:

National Champions 1943.

Helm's foundation National Champions 1934.

NCAA tournament MVP and two time College Basketball Player of the Year Kenny Sailors, who is credited with inventing the jump shot.

Do you remember Cowboy Basketball?

I do.

7 home games, 5 road games. That back-to-back bowl drought is coming to an end. First good chance for a 9-win season in...

*calculates*

...forever.

Try the 1987 & 1988 seasons.

Went 10-3 in 1987. Went to the Holiday Bowl only to be beat by one point by Iowa whom we start the 2017 season with.

Went 11-2 in 1988. Went to the Holiday Bowl again only to get slaughtered by Barry Sanders and the Oklahoma State Pokies.
I want CHAMPIONSHIPS not chicken poop! And we're getting chicken poop!!!!!!!!!!!

You will be hearing from the lawyers of Joe Tiller's 96' team.

No, wait...you meant the back-to-back part. That's correct. Crazy to think Joe's teams never made it back-to-back. Bowls were a bitch to get into back then.

Tiller's only bowl season was in 1993 and we got destroyed by Kansas State in Tucson, Arizona (Copper Bowl...now Catcus Bowl), 52-17.

Pretty darn excited for those September games. Oregon game will be packed and weather should be really nice. The only con would be a long spree of road games later.

Coming off a solid 2016 and having lots of early home games, plus the border war in Laramie this year, average attendance north of 25k seems reasonable. I wonder what the AD is forecasting...

Not good if you're an archery hunter like me. It happens though.
