There hasn't been anything coming out of the IPF today about times at pro day. A few short videos, but those don't tell us anything.

Turns out the beat writers are still in Vegas, and the papers didn't send anyone else. The university is also not doing a press release, so we're going to have to hunt for info on this. https://twitter.com/BFoster91/status/839964598795042817

Leave it to the Trib to leave their Wyoming beat writer in LV after both the men's and women's teams were bombed out in the first round. Hey Foster, you could easily watch the games on the MWC website and do your reporting on the pro day at UW at the same time. Or not. :willybs:

Sounds like Gentry had a great day and turned some heads. I'm happy for him.

That dude said he had dinner with the Patriots last night. I'd love for some Pokes to go to the Patriots.

Why is Foster still in Vegas? Both teams lost four days ago.

They will draft McCaffrey and Gentry in the Patriots' continuing plan to field an all-white offense.

Only thing I could think of is if he was booked at hotel for whole tournament thinking Cowgirls would be still in it and couldn't get out of it, and paper doesn't want to waste the hotel bill

I think Gentry is going to get drafted, not just a free agent gig.

2nd best bench reps, 4th best verticle leap, and 15th best broad jump out of the guys AT the NFL combine. Those numbers don't have to be taken at the combine. They translate no matter where your at. The 40 is what they want to see at the combine.

He made some beautiful catches, including the one I've included in this link.

Gentry might move up into the middle rounds of the draft.

Wyoming Cowboy basketball:

National Champions 1943.

Helm's foundation National Champions 1934.

NCAA tournament MVP and two time College Basketball Player of the Year Kenny Sailors, who is credited with inventing the jump shot.

Do you remember Cowboy Basketball?

I do.

What Tanner lacks in speed (not slow, but not top of the line either) he more than makes up for in pretty much every other department.

He compares pretty well to Anquan Boldin with his hands and lack of top end speed.

Gentry pro day vs Boldin combine
Height: 6'1" vs 6'1"
Weight: 209 lbs vs 216 lbs
Vertical: 38" vs 33 1/2"
Broad Jump: 10'3" vs 9'6"
40: 4.5-4.6 vs 4.7

The comp I've thought about since the season was Adam Thielen (Vikings) and numbers aren't far off. He was a UDFA, but has really come on and nearly had 1,000 yards this past year.

Gentry vs. Thielen
Height: 6'1" vs 6'2"
Weight: 209 lbs vs 195
Vertical: 38" vs 36"
Broad Jump: 10'3" vs 10'0"
40: 4.5-4.6 vs 4.45
