The Brown and Gold outlet is usually considered the best Cowboy Gear store. Its on Grand Ave near the Stadium. The Knothole downtown also has some pretty nice stuff as well.

Enjoy your trip. Laramie in the summer is special.

Brown and Gold has the best selection, especially for Nike. The bookstore has some more unique stuff and more under armor, but they are not open on Saturdays during the summer FYI. Nu 2 U occasionally has some sweet vintage pokes gear too, which is downtown. The knot hole is pretty meh.

Thank you all for the responses! Went down to the Brown and Gold and hooked the family up! Cool store. Was good to walk around and get to show the kids the stadium and school. I tried that in Berkeley and, even as a former player, the guards prevented us from getting anywhere near the stadium. Very cool setting you all have here!!

That makes me kind of sad to hear. One of the things I always treasured about Wyoming and UW was the openness and warmheartedness. I was born and raised in Sweden where football isn't really a thing - yet somehow my brother got hooked on the 49ers in the late 80s and became obsessed with the sport (and helped found a team in our home town, even). When he came to visit me in Laramie, I figured I'd try and talk to the head coach at the time (Joe Glenn) and see how he'd feel about my brother hanging out on the sidelines during practice. Long shot, right?

No... Glenn was super excited and gave my brother the VIP treatment. He visited practice every day that week and then since his next stop on his trip was Salt Lake where Cowboys were playing, Glenn hooked him up with a sideline pass for the game. Sure Pokes got beat down by Utes pretty hard, but my brother still had an incredible time. When I thanked Coach Glenn for it he just said something along the lines of "It's just a Wyoming thing to do."

Where did you try to go in? In the southwest corner, the gate is open to the public from dawn to dusk. There is even a big sign that says so. They may have added security due to construction recently, but a few weeks ago when I went in that gate to check out construction, there was no security.

My fault! I meant when I tried to visit Cal's stadium in Berkeley I couldn't get near it. We had no problems here in Laramie. Kids got to check out the stadium and had a blast. Sorry about the confusion!
