I would also think that adrenaline was a bit of a factor on day 1. I would have been a bit amped up knowing all of the big dogs were in attendance. I think he will settle down between now and the game and do just fine.pokefanchaz7 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 24, 2018 9:26 amI think we all knew his biggest weaknesses going in would be his accuracy and trusting his big arm too much for the situation. I think the NFL executives aren't blind to it either but the ability and the possibility is there for something very special which is why they will overlook those issues. I just hope he can capitalize on his opportunity

What is the difference between politicians and stoners? Politicians don't inhale...they just suck.
They said he was inconsistent at best on Day 2.

Josh Allen started with a bad overthrow against air as the practice began, and during one-on-one drills, a few of his passes were behind and low, particularly one on a dig route to Colorado State wideout Michael Gallup. However, it wasn't a wildly erratic day for the Wyoming quarterback. Many of his accurate passes were dropped, as it appeared the sun cutting across the field was a problem for some receivers at the outset of the practice, most namely DaeSean Hamilton of Penn State and Iowa State's Allen Lazard.

He made some spectacular throws in addition to the bad ones. At any one time, 50% of the people are going to rag on him, and 50% are going to love him. Welcome to the pros where everybody is an expert, Josh.

Yeah, I'm really not going to get too wrapped up in all of the negative nancy articles out there. There's going to be no convincing of most of these people, they've made up their minds.

Allen's overthrows were hyped by the nay-sayers...but if you watched the practice, Gallup (damn sheep) ran the route at least 5 yards short.

Also mentioned Josh's overthrow where the receiver ran 5 yards short.

To be honest, that throw in the video where he completely missed the whole target looks pretty damn bad... and it's something we saw plenty of on his short throws both this season and last. I think he'll figure it out, but still.kdwrightuwyo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 10:56 am http://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/nfl/nfl ... ocid=ientp

These are the things that frustrate me about today's world. There is no longer any context being used. If it can be used to railroad someone, it doesn't matter if you don't have the full picture.kdwrightuwyo wrote: ↑Thu Jan 25, 2018 8:27 am Allen's overthrows were hyped by the nay-sayers...but if you watched the practice, Gallup (damn sheep) ran the route at least 5 yards short.

It would be interesting to see what these same people had to say about Carson Wentz last year. Not sure if the "accuracy" criticism would have come into play, but pretty sure a lot of these jokers were taking the small school angle and hitting it pretty heavily.
