Now that I'm drunk......here's what I really think..

Anyone who thinks Schroyer can turn this program around has sh.. for brains. Look at the crap he recruited. A high school team or maybe a junior high team could shoot better and shoot free throws better. He is the worst evaluator of talent since the guy who drafted Sam Bowie ahead of Michael Jordon.

We have a better chance of beating Texas next year than winning enough games to avoid the play in game. If I ran my business like this, I would have been in bankruptcy 2 years ago. We actually have morons on this board who think this idiot can turn around the ship he ran into the iceberg.

Btw, anyone who thinks Luster's absence made any difference whatsoever is a bigger idiot than Schroyer.

One last dig....I'm happy that Dermody is a senior. I cannot bear to watch him clanging up anymore 3 pointers. The fact that he plays a single minute is testament to how bad Schroyer has recruited.

Two tone the fact that he did not recruit Dermody is the only thing he has done right since he came on board and completly fucked up the program. I hope Burman is not trying to tank the program so we have to move down to f##king D2 or NAIA. My god what a f##king sad day in Cowboy basketball. How far have we dropped scoring 40 against the all mighty f##king Cadets. What a joke we are. Shroyer must have something bad on Burman to be able to keep his job. Must have pictures of him f##king a dog or something. Travesty

Point is in three years of recruiting, Schroyer hasn't found anything better than Dermody.

There is Jackson and Waddell, but his coaching sucks.

First we had to suffer through several years of embarassing football and now that the football team is seemingly headed in the right direction, we have a horseshit basketball program. Who angered the sports gods and what did they do? I'm unfortunately resigned to the fact that Shroyer will be back for another year. However, I expect nothing less than a 20-win season next year, against a somewhat quality schedule, or Shroyer should be headed down the road. (20 wins, yeah like that is going to happen.)

I think you are going a little overboard here, With Luster the turnovers from Jackson would have been different because Luster knows how to handle the ball much better. Now I don't disagree with anything else you said and honestly I'd rather lose out to AF now then win and get completely humiliated by anyone else.

Now that I'm sober, I absolutely stand behind what I wrote. We might have lost by 14 instead of 18, but we still would have lost. Luster is the 9th best starting point guard in the mtn. west.

Waddell was recruited during the McClain regime. Hell, Langley tried to run him off along with Platt and Nelson and Okoye and Spencer, but Waddell was too committed to let the slick haired used car salesman win the batt.e

My mistake then, and more kudos to Waddell for sticking with UW.

Holy Crap! Somebody just tried to explain away why getting our ass kicked by air force in the pig tail game could have been less embarrassing.

I'm starting a "Bring Back Joby Wright" campaign....we didn't know how good we had it with Joby!
