Because we can, you twit.SDPokeFan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2017 4:19 pmOK, why stop there? Hang banners for regular season wins! Hang banners when you finish over .500! Hang banners for preseason wins! In big block letters! DEFEATED NEW MEXICO HIGHLANDS - 2014. I gotta say, I'm disappointed in you. You don't come across as the "everyone gets a trophy" type.Wyovanian wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2017 12:19 pmAnd yet, you're the guy whose just fine with dropping to FCS...SDPokeFan wrote: ↑Thu Mar 16, 2017 4:09 amI admire your enthusiasm, but I have to believe you're trolling with that last sentence. Hanging a CBI championship banner would seriously be the most embarrassing thing I've ever seen. For the record, "Coach Smart's first year everyone was very upset that they played in the CBI. Shaka looked at it as a way for the team to come together for the following season. VCU ended up playing SLU in the CBI finals and winning. Both VCU and SLU benefited greatly because VCU went to the Final Four the following year"
Historically good programs have played in the CBI, including, Virginia, Washington, Utah, Stanford, VCU, Oregon State, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Texas and Texas A&M, Purdue and Penn State. Nevada won it last year and look where they are today. I think this is money well spent by Wyoming and I still believe they can win it ALL if they play with tenacity and stay grounded.
Go Pokes! Lets hang a CBI Championship Banner in the AA.
VCU, Oregon, Oregon State, Nevada, and Pitt all have CBI Chamionship banners hanging in their arenas...

Game started off really good and since that first big substitution we basically fell apart. I feel like there are certain players that hurt us when they are on the floor together.
Never just one player but at least two that just don't play together worth a poop.

I wouldn't say "really bad". There were a lot of good things happening. Moemeka is playing great. Saw some offensive rebounds but we gave up two offensive rebounds a couple of times.Wyo2dal wrote:Great first 10 mins, really bad last 10 mins.

Well really bad production. Moemeka looked good, Dalton was missing in action and those soft passes got picked off more than I'd like to see.laxwyo wrote:I wouldn't say "really bad". I guess I just get use to seeing Dalton play considerably better.

Here's hoping we don't pull our traditional 2nd half letdownWyo2dal wrote:Well really bad production. You can't blame bad ball control and shooting on the lineup. Dalton can't seem to hit poop tonight but if they take him out everyone will bitch that he wasn't in.Adv8RU12 wrote:Pokes are going to blow it, aren't they. Now, wait, EDWARDS is going to blow it with his inappropriate lineup
At most you can blame 60% on Edwards but you can't blame 100% on him. He isn't the one shooting like complete poop out there.
We should be out rebounding these guys by at least 10-15 boards but we aren't.

This team doesn't value the basketball. At all. Biggest frustration with this team this year.
Edwards is probably partly to blame, but players have to be smarter. Smarter shots. Smarter passes. Smarter decisions.
