Wyoming is basically 2 road wins (Friday @ SDSU and Sunday @ New Mexico) - with a home finale against the sheep on Halloween, for it's first regular season MWC championship (in any sport) since 2001-2002 Men's Hoops.

I was kind of skeptical of our chances until I looked at the schedule, now I'm more skeptical. The good news: we won a couple of games on the road in a row. The bad news: we go on the road to ranked SDSU and follow that with a game vs. powerhouse New Mexico before closing the season vs. the Rammettes.

If we beat SDSU and UNM we deserve the title. Go Pokes.

Well that sucked (typical for soccer IMO). Lost 5 - 2 to SDSU, and 2 - 1 to NM. Last game of the regular season Friday, in Laramie, against CSewe. Another MWC championship dream shattered.

The only real issue is whether this is a Wyoming team. If they represent our university and, especially since they beat the ewes, they are competitive, we must celebrate them on this board.

Finished 2nd in the MWC with a heavy reliance on freshman and sophomores. Will be interesting to see if they can out together a run during the conference tournament.

This MWC Title could go either way against SDSU or Colorado College who is currently beating SDSU 1-0 23 mins left in the first half.
