Listed on recruiting sites as a DE, RB, and WR. My guess is that he'll be a WR. 6'2, 205lbs and all.
That said, welcome to Wyoming Trevon!

That's not too far off the size Hill was when he committed.fromolwyoming wrote:Listed on recruiting sites as a DE, RB, and WR. My guess is that he'll be a WR. 6'2, 205lbs and all.

Weaver said on Monday that he made the decision on Dec. 13 after talking with his mother about getting the opportunity to be a preferred walk on with the Cowboys and said he likes everything about Laramie.
“It’s a great place,” he said. “I liked how it’s not too far from home. I like how the campus is set up. I like the coaches and everything. I met some of the players and I think they are all really good guys.”
Weaver’s recruitment to Wyoming began in his junior season after a conversation with defensive coordinator and linebackers coach Steve Stanard. Stanard came to Wyoming in 2014 from North Dakota State with head coach Craig Bohl after winning three consecutive NCAA Football Championship Subdivision titles.
Weaver said he’d likely play outside linebacker for the Cowboys in the future.
“I’m open to play wherever they need me to,” he said.
Weaver took visits to Wyoming, Wayne State and Nebraska and saw interest from Chadron State, Kearney and Hastings during the college football season.

Commitment doesn't mean scholarshipMcPeachy wrote:Preferred walk-on, or #17 commit (toward the scholarship / signing count)? Confusing...
Looks like a great pick up regardless.
He is committing to the program as a preferred walk-on.

Our count for scholarship student-athletes that have given UW a verbal is different than your "#17" in the title of this thread. Hence my confusion monkeyboy.
Dear Karma,
I have a list of people you missed...

Alright... an OLB who runs like that is one hell of a weapon. Obviously he'll have to bulk up to play the position, but that's amazing still.

I can't imagine he would be put on the front 7 with that kind of speed. Seems to be a better fit at WR of Safety.Asmodeanreborn wrote: ↑Fri May 05, 2017 9:48 am Alright... an OLB who runs like that is one hell of a weapon. Holy crap! That is blazing. That's fantastic. He could be one hell of a linebacker. IIRC he's pretty big, too.Colocowboy wrote: ↑Thu May 04, 2017 9:37 pm Just ran a 10.69 100m today in scottsbluff breaking danny woodheads school record

He is every bit of that, maybe heavier than 205. Saw him yesterday at that track meet.

Took second at state with a 10.5, and second in long jump with a 22 ft 5 in jump. Will be interesting if he stays at linebacker when it's all said and done

Wow! Talk about a potential star at WR/TE or Safety. What was Herron's 100? I believe he was in the 10.5 range in California. Those have to be the fastest times of any Wyoming recruits. Maybe Marcus Brunson who ran a sub 10 in his later years.Colocowboy wrote: ↑Mon May 22, 2017 5:07 pm Took second at state with a 10.5, and second in long jump with a 22 ft 5 in jump. Incredible! That 100 is blazing fast. Can't believe he is going to be a walk-on. Congrats
