Interested in what everyone thinks.

A lot going on...Family 4 pack for $72.00, Two Pack special for $55 AFA only (includes T shirt, 2 dogs, 2 pepsi's, 2 tickets), military day (500 free tickets given out to vets), 3-pack mini plan (3 games for a lower price total), and the AFA has a pretty decent team...wonder how many will come from the AFA?

I said 18-20.. as much as I'd like to see a packed house, it probably won't happen.

SPORTS OPINION: Fans need to decide what they truly want
By Robert Gagliardi

[email protected]

"According to the data, the current record of the team is less of a factor than the opponent and weather." -- Market research study done in the fall of 2007 on University of Wyoming football attendance.

There you have it, statistical evidence that University of Wyoming football fans are more interested in the opponent and weather when deciding whether to attend games than the actual UW team.
Gagliardi article about attendance.. good read.

regarding gags article about acheduling.....i think in a perfect world we schedule nothing but bad or down BCS teams...like virginia, syracuse, ole miss, ucla, tennessee, iowa state, kansas, baylor, most of the big east or acc or pac12...teams we can beat but have to be willing to travel here. i think we should try to get as many BCS victories as possible.

You bring up a great point / idea, but the hard part, is predicting who will be "down". Meaning...some of those teams may suck now, but in 2 - 4 years (our schedule timeline) they may be a top 5 program. Others are probably more easy...and maybe the idea is to stick it to perennial BCS losers...Baylor, Iowa State, Washington State, anyone from the Big East or ACC, etc. ;)

But you can't beat the big boys if you don't play them. Tennessee anyone?

They have been experiencing down years the last few years. Still a very tough place to play (100,000 people in any stadium makes it tough).
