Yeah that last pass where they rushed 3 - that was nice.
Looks like we are in a dogfight now.

So close but we collapsed in the 4th. I can't tell by the radio but I'm guessing we just got too tired out?

That is part of it....I'm watching...to me it looks like TX remembered that they have some real gamebreakers and sort of exploded....the pick 6 was just bad by Svaboda.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:05 pm So close but we collapsed in the 4th. Sounds like Svoboda short hopped a receiver now. It seems he is rattled.307bball wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:08 pmThat is part of it....I'm watching...to me it looks like TX remembered that they have some real gamebreakers and sort of exploded....the pick 6 was just bad by Svaboda.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:05 pm So close but we collapsed in the 4th. Side note, how come every QB that comes to Wyoming throws balls that bounce before getting to receivers It seems in every single game?

Yeah...I don't think he's rattled...he reminds me of chambers with less touch if that's possible....but except for that really bad pick 6 he played within himself.laxwyo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:13 pmIf you had watched, you’d know a dude was in his grill.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:11 pm

Oh that's a positive at least I guess. Not just short arming a receiver like many of our other QBs from recent years. I just have radio for this onelaxwyo wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:13 pmIf you had watched, you’d know a dude was in his grill.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:11 pm

For those watching, why not try a final scoring play instead of letting clock just run out?

It’s Bohl. He doesn’t play for moral victories and didn’t want to risk an injury.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:27 pm For those watching, why not try a final scoring play instead of letting clock just run out?

Yeah...i'm pretty much fine with that decision. they had a great play call that scored and got called back...Welch just rant the "pick" a little too much like an actual pick...I've seen that not called but ... eh...oh well.OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:34 pmIt’s Bohl. Hmmm too bad, I would think it would have been another good rep for the team. Only 1 TD the whole game in the very first drive. Would have been at least a bit more situational practice at the end of game to see if we could score in a 5 minute offense and possibly take some momentum going into next week. Not saying he's better or worse...he was obviously very limited in what they were allowing him to throw....Just noting the mold of the big rugged guy that is not a traditional "thrower". Like I said...I thought he really played within himself and gave us a chance. The pass that got picked for the touchdown was bad but overall he did fine.
I totally agree with you. Bohl does play for morale victories, as only seconds before he was going for a TD which wouldn't have affected the outcome of the game. Scoring again on Texas would have been a big boost to the team, for the future, even if not for the moment. Texas still had their starters in as they certainly didn't want to give up another score. Plus, if we'd manage a TD at the end, we would have virtually ended up with as many yards gained on them, as they had on us. I feel it was a missed opportunity to build on.WyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Sep 16, 2023 9:40 pmHmmm too bad, I would think it would have been another good rep for the team. Team played a heck of a game and held in there. The most disappointing part is that in the 4th, I could envision how we could win. I did tell my dad they’d probably drop 21 on us now in the 4th.
