I think it is both we go conservative, and the other teams make adjustments. The other teams defenses change in the second half to get more pressure on Peasley and to shut down our running game more, and we just don't adjust and if anything we go more conservative especially if we have the leadItsux2beaewe wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 8:38 pmI said it before, I think the offensive scheme changes in the 2nd half. Our scheme in the 2nd half is not to lose rather than peddle on the floor.

I think they changed their base rush and it didn’t allow Peas to scramble for first downs and instead resulted in sacksWyomingAgJ wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 8:47 pmI think it is both we go conservative, and the other teams make adjustments. Stated this on the other board. When you have a QB that is 6'5" 245lbs, why the f'k do you not put him in anytime you need 2 yrds? So what if the D know what you are going to do. With the size of our line and a couple of tight ends lined up behind him, there is no reason we don't Philly push that every single time. Horrible play calling in the second half...plain and simple. 2 weeks in a row where absolutely no adjustments were made....

In fairness, they have used Svaboda in that role. Not sure why tonight they didn’t.PokeTransplant wrote: ↑Sat Oct 14, 2023 9:04 pm Stated this on the other board. It's still pathetic how this team takes 2 steps forward and 1.5 back year in and year out. I want to get excited for great football but this one is eerily similar to a couple years ago when they threw it all over the field they beat us and the slide began. Great teams find ways to win regardless of what adversity happens, we seem to be snakebit at the wrong time year in and year out. Good vs great is the true moral of our story and now 7-5 could be on the horizon with a majority of our games now on the road....Grrrrrrrrrr...yes we can get em but its NEVER EASY FOR WYO???!!! WHY????

This is bad news for us IMO. It would be most beneficial for us to have them run the table and hand teams like UNLV lossesItsux2beaewe wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 4:24 pm Larrier out “for a while” for AFA - knee injury from Saturday.

We don’t need anyone to hand UNLV a loss because we’re going to beat them. We want teams that have tie breaker over us to lose. This becomes a little different if we lose to Boise.Itsux2beaewe wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 7:37 pmWithout a doubt.LanderPoke wrote: ↑Tue Oct 17, 2023 7:22 pm

What we need is AF to beat Boise and UNLV but lose to CSU and hawaii

You can safety bet the farm and the national debt on AFA beating Hawaii!!!!!!!!!!OrediggerPoke wrote: ↑Wed Oct 18, 2023 12:47 pmI’m going to make a wild prediction - Air Force won’t lose to Hawaii.
I want CHAMPIONSHIPS not chicken poop! And we're getting chicken poop!!!!!!!!!!!
Stating the obvious; our best chance of a conference championship is to win out. Then it doesn't matter if AFA loses or not, we'll just beat them in the championship game.
Not many teams will have the advantage of coming off a bye, at home, with Waylee out like AFA had.
