.....

St. Johns fans message board has a thread about Dunlap possibly leaving. Seems like their fans do not want Dunlap to leave and think he is a great coach , which I already know he is. I think Dunlap is the coach Wyoming should hire before Taylor or Kennedy or anyone else. I hope Burman makes the right decision. I posted the link below.

I think Taylor has the upper hand right now because he is a HC already whereas Dunlap doesn't have HC experience.

He's got 12+ years as a HC, albeit at a lower level.

Yeah. I should have been more specific. Gosar just won a championship and it doesn't seem like he gets credit for being a HC. I should have said since Taylor has taken a D1 school and built a program, that's what gives him a edge over Dunlap. I personally prefer Dunlap. But would love to get either one. But I don't know too much, I'm just a schlub! Baseball is my game!

It seems to me there's a huge jump between jc and a four year school. Kids are in the program longer and you generally can't be too successful just out athleting people like you can in the junior college ranks. Granted Dunlap hasn't been the head at a D-1 school like Taylor, but I'd give his experience a lot more credit than that of someone who's been a junior college coach.
