Guessing he read the writing on the wall, that Stanford offer isn't coming.

Good to see we're still in the running. I hope he stays home to become the hometown legend he could be!

Glad to see csu mentioned no where in that article. Here's hoping that his visit to UW is to a game that we can take care of business and show him that we are on the up and up...so either FAU or SJSU would be my bet.

To counter that, Oregon can invite him when we come to town. Two of his top teams on the field at one time...

True, but I don't think I'd want to have a recruit come in when you know you are probably going to beat up one of his top teams, especially his in-state team. Could give it a bully/underdog complex which might make Wyo actually seem more appealing. But then again, it might just make him realize how good Oregon is...

Yeah it could definitely work either way.

If he hears some poop talking about Wyoming when he is on the sideline, he might look around on the Ducks sideline and think "Wow, F*** you guys, that's MY team you are talking about, just wait til you guys come to Laramie in a couple seasons".

Or he could start thinking "Who in their right mind would pick Wyo over the Ducks?"

Another Pac-12 offer. Recruiting will only heat up for Tevis from here on out.

Ha!

If Cal joins the Big West, where does that put us? NAIA? Juco?

No, you're not getting it. I just want them to drop down a level or something. The pretentious jerks.

Not too worried about that one, unless he develops a really good rapport with the Cal coaching staff. Oregon has more to offer than Cal in almost every category except maybe earlier playing time.

Yeah you would think Cal and CU are on similar levels, and CU is closer so I don't see Cal being a big threat or anything.

Such recruits typically tend to need a redshirt season to adjust to college-level talent, but I'll take him. This team needs guys who only know one thing: dominance.

I want to see this kid on the basketball court. Dominant in these football clips in shutting down some pretty weak competition. Averages 19 ppg, guy is a bruiser.

Apparently Washington and Notre Dame may be close to offering Tevis Bartlett. He will visit Oregon, plans to set up visits to Cal, Wyoming, Colorado, and Utah.
