One season under Bohl in an offense where he had to learn to read a defense would have done wonders for him...but that's another dead horse to kick.

Yeah DC doesn't have the greatest result with his star college QBs succeeding in the NFL.
If you ever need to laugh, just remember there was some idiot who wanted Bohl fired after 2 seasons.

It was May and Olive not Rufran.

Monday marked the last of five two-a-day practices, and the players were in shoulder pads and shorts Monday morning.

It also was the first practice since last Saturday’s scrimmage, and a day off for the players. But first-year coach Craig Bohl said some players were late to breakfast and he had to get on them prior to practice.

INJURY OUTLOOK

Bohl got some good news on the injury front on Monday, as starting left tackle Nathan Leddige and sophomore Lucas Wacha -- both of whom had been battling concussion symptoms -- practiced fully.

Redshirt sophomore running back D.J. May did not participate in practice, though he didn't appear to be seriously injured. He did not play in Saturday's scrimmage wither for precautionary reasons.

Only thing is, we have a poop ton of guys graduating, so hard to know who they're looking at.

They could be looking at juniors to. I think Yarbrough is a real possibility.

Is it just me, or is it absolutely insane that they didn't have a nutrition plan last season??! "Most our days began with pancakes and pop tarts"

WTF?!

Thank you, Duval!

Certainly explains why our supposedly good sized linemen could never get much push on either side (though Olive was almost always double teamed). They were just fat rather than strong.

After looking at the film of Saturday's scrimmage, Wyoming coach Craig Bohl said his defense needs to work on maintaining its production over four quarters.

“I thought defensively we really started out well. However, as the scrimmage went along we had too many assignment busts and things of that nature," Bohl said. "For us, we’ve got to be able to maintain a consistency. If we’re going to be great on defense, we’re going to need to be great in the second half, particularly in the fourth quarter. We haven’t arrived there yet.”

I wonder if some staffs simply expect the players to know all this stuff about nutrition before the season and trust them to stick to the plan without really enforcing anything.

Good to hear Hill is making an impression on the staff. DJ May has a tendency to get injuries over his 3 year stint with the Cowboys. So Quality depth at RB will be important for this pro style offense. Now that Hill will not red shirt, would it be practical to red shirt Stover?

https://twitter.com/mikevorel/status/501466016401330176 Wyoming O-line looks to dispel question marks

Experience comes in many forms.

Game experience, for example, is extremely valuable -- and recognizably unbalanced -- along Wyoming's offensive line. Junior offensive tackle Jake Jones, for example, has started 24 games in his two-year career.

The other six players in Wyoming's rotation, by comparison, have started 23 career games -- total.

But while having played meaningful collegiate minutes does lend an advantage, that impact is diminished when considering that the snaps came in a wildly different offensive scheme.

Eddie is such a good kid, he'll be a great representative for WYO at the next level.
“Being around Colorado State, I saw that football wasn’t really a big sport there," Parker said Sunday night.
