That's why Utah and Wichita State offered him free school to come play for them. He's soft and has no quickness. Soft, slow guys are often given 50,000 dollars worth of free college at top 25 teams.

When they are 6'10" and have a lot of potential...then yes, they do.

Don't mistake me saying he was perceived as soft in high school to mean he can never play at this level. Kid has a lot of potential and I hope he lives up to it and more.

I didn't say Barnes has no potential. I just said what I think is true : That he is the least quick Poke. So, for example, if the other 11 Pokes were the top 11 in quickness in the nation, it could be that Barnes could be the 12th quickest in the nation. Just say'in, you know.
