I forgot, your Art Briles example technically fits in my list.
However, I am hoping that Briles' pattern is one that Bohl is following (only Bohl didn't get 7 wins in his first year). The next year Briles only won 3 (extreme down year), then 6, then 10 (I think).
Success stories in G5 ranks that took a decade to build?

Persistent...
I believe through my tired and hurried week last week I accepted your own "criteria" as okay to use. I'm going to have to look back at that "criteria" and see how I can twist it and dwindle your results to nil before I accept it as okay.

More criteria or excuses? What I put in were clearly reasonable. G5, modern football, and a true winning season.kansasCowboy wrote:Persistent...

You could just admit I'm right. Most (barring a couple of outliers) successful G5 coaches will find success within 4 years.
Bohl, I think, is going to have 7 wins either next year or the year after anyway.

If you recall, we were discussing timelines on rebuilds. You claim we fire people too early and that 6+ years is necessary. I claim 4 years at the G5 ranks is sufficient time to get an indication of where things are going.kansasCowboy wrote:

You can admit I'm right; it is okay--just like FCS equaling half or more of FBS
