LOL. Nice preemptive strike.bladerunnr wrote:Come on guys. What'd you expect? We're playing mighty App. state. There's no way we could be competitive in a body bag game like this. You'd think we were playing New Mex.....er, uh, Eastern Mich....eh, well, let's just say we've played a pretty damn tough schedule.
When all the pieces are in place and we finally perfect the center - qb exchange, then I think you can expect big things. Until then, buckle up, and enjoy the process!

I bet the game at +21.5 and almost as soon as it was on the board. I wonder who got only 18. The line at most off shore books ended at 25.5. Great game for the bookmakers, and me.laxwyo wrote:Whoever had Wyoming +18 just got f-word

Still can make a bowl game (until the fly boys paste us next week)!
Stay cowboy tough poke fans. A smidge away from a championship.

I find it laughable that you pin everything on coaching. Fumble? Coaching problem. Dropped pass? Coaching. Sometimes it's about players not executing. And they're human and no amount of coaching can fix everything that happens in a game.

uh oh, at least he got a push. It goes to show you can't take anything for granted with this Wyo. team; not even the xtra point.laxwyo wrote:Lakebison laid 250 on pokes at +18.bladerunnr wrote:I bet the game at +21.5 and almost as soon as it was on the board. And a short Kick off that Wyoming muffs and they get the ball right back after scoring, outcoachedItSucksToBeACSURam wrote:I'm watching this game. There was a time out right before half and then a fake field goal. How can you not enlighten the players to something like that. They looked like they have never even heard of a fake field goal. You had two guys jumping to block the kick as the runner was on the edge... That's coaching.... That's one example... We're getting outcoached all over the place. Seems like that happens every gamelaxwyo wrote:I don't know what game you're watching but they aren't getting out coached. Again getting outcoached
I agree. But I think it seems as if coaches are responsible for correcting those things during the week. Fumbles can be caused by poor coaching on ball security. Dumb penalties can be caused by poor coaching of blocking/tackling techniques. Bad handoffs/exchanges can be put on bad coaching in terms of not having enough practice reps.laxwyo wrote:I find it laughable that you pin everything on coaching. Fumble? Coaching problem. I agree with you that it's ridiculous to place all the blame on the coaches. But the lack of weekly improvement with things like blocking, tackling, self-inflicted penalties, etc. has to at least partially be blamed on the coaches
Nobody said everything was on the lack of coaching but if you think this is a well coached team I find that laughable.laxwyo wrote:I find it laughable that you pin everything on coaching. Fumble? Subpar coaching is definitely part of the problem. The penalties are a discipline issue, that is the one thing coaches have more control over than anything; teaching discipline.
Athletes not executing is definitely part of the problem. Coaches can't snap the ball for them.
Lacking size & athleticism necessary to be competitive at this level is definitely part of the problem.
That about sums it up. We better give more carries to Tapscott so we can prepare for Hill's transfer...

2nd year for me. I did keep giving $100 to CJC (vastly scaled back from my previous giving level), but I won't be doing that in the future.HR_Poke wrote:Yeah screw this. I'm not renewing my season tickets next year nor am I continuing my CJC donation. This team and coach blows. Worse than Koening.....

Cowboy Tough?
The players at least don't quit. I'll call them Cowboy Tough!
On here though?
It moreso looks like this:
followed by quickly followed with then a lot of followed up with then
And some more
Meanwhile, I just sit back and
Because the Cowboy Tough ain't the crybabies...

I hope your feeling of being a true Cowboy is cold comfort against the continuing losses and embarrassment.kansasCowboy wrote:Cowboy Tough?
