Just saying, we can't be whipped by Eastern Michigan regardless of how we looked this spring.

Bohl sounds a little confident. Makes me feel confident, too

I think the biggest comment that stood out to me was his about how he knew last year was going to be a hard year. He mentions that the year before (his first year) we had a large senior class with quite a few junior college players leading to more youth the following year. So while many have jumped on him for the lack of success last year, I think he would have personally told you that is what he expected by doing it the "right way." While they might not be world beaters yet, I think it is safe to say more progress will be made this year.

Its got to be tough as a coach - you can't come out and say - oh hell, we are going to suck this year really bad. If you do that, everyone gives up right away.

If you know we are going to suck, and you come out and say "oh we are going to be awesome - this will be a fun season, then barely win 2 games" - nobody is going to trust you when you improve.

Then there just is the human factor of it. Just because your an expert at what you do doesn't mean you can predict the outcomes of the future.

I hope we have a good year!
