Idk; he's been banged up a lot and that adds to his previous injury/surgery history. He also fell off hard as the year went on, even in our run-heavy offense.

I'm sure there's a team out there desperate enough for a talented RB to take a chance and convince him to transfer again and learn a new system and all that...but those types of teams aren't usually the kinds that have a massive bag to throw at him.

LB Brady Hultman enters the transfer portal. I have to admit, I didn't know who he was.

He fell off hard because Bohl didn't want to play him. Not sure what he did after CSU but he had 29 carries in that game then 32 carries in the 3 games after. Part of it was Peasley slinging the ball very well against Hawaii and Nevada. I still stand by the fact if he played in the 1Q against UNLV the result would have been different.

I agree that the UNLV game looks much different if he plays the first quarter. He was said to have missed curfew and thus the 1 quarter suspension.

However, I don't think Bohl was limiting Waylee's carries late in the season for anything but game script and how those games shook out. The Hawaii and Nevada games became blowouts very quickly. There was no need to waste Waylee with a bunch of carries in games that had long since been decided (thus the carries for Ferrell and Scott).

Bohl made a huge mistake earlier in the season when he gave Waylee a carry in a meaningless play against Fresno (the game was already over). Well Waylee got hurt and then missed the Air Force game. I believe we beat Air Force if Waylee plays.

USC transfer receiver Chase Locke entered the portal. Never saw the field to my knowledge. If I recall correctly, Keelan Cox helped convince him to come to Laramie. What we learned is just because someone was on the team at USC or Alabama doesn’t mean they will help us out.

LB Cayden Hawkins entered the portal (I think I saw him in on special teams).

If Vegas can't scrounge up enough money to keep a guy who actually played high school football in Las Vegas and who took the team to its best finish in decades, this should tell the G5s all they need to know about competing in today's college football dollars world.

Did Burman and his decisions save transfers or did our players not really demand that much on the NIL market? Either way, with the team remaining mostly intact, it should be another consistent season next year.

or it could be that they’ve seen that those who transferred out didn’t do well. Omotosho has hardly seen the field at OSU.
