2-0 For the Cowboys, Boise St. Next
WELCOME TO THE WAR, 7200 FT

The Wyoming Cowboys prevailed in a close game with the Utah State Aggies this week. The Cowboys broke the game open late in the game behind Wynel Seldon's 2 touchdown performance. The Cowboys are 2-0 on the season. Utah State led until the 4th quarter when Seldon broke for both of his touchdowns, he rushed for 85 yards. Karsten Sween suffered a bit of a letdown as he threw for 180 yards and a score, but was intercepted twice. On defense, Julius Stinson led the way with 8 solo tackles, 14 total. The Aggies came into the game hungry looking to snap their 8 game road losing streak, but Seldon was too much for the Aggies to overcome.

Next week the Cowboys travel to Boise to take on the 1-1 Boise State Broncos. The Broncos took a tough, but thorough beating to Pac-10 leader, Washington. The Huskies forced Boise to commit 4 turnovers, including 4 interceptions from quarterback Taylor Tharp. Ian Johnson was held to 81 yards and no score for the Broncos while Washington's young phenom QB Jake Locker passed for 193 yards and ran for another 84.
