Pokes Survive TCU, New Mexico Up Next
WELCOME TO THE WAR, ELEVATION 7200 FEET

The Wyoming Cowboys survived a late run by TCU and came out with a 24-21 win over the Horned Frogs. The Cowboys led 24-6 late in the game when TCU came back for a couple of late touchdowns to make the game a little more interesting. Thanks to the combination of "Thunder and Lightning" the Cowboys ran the ball for a combined 232 yards. The Seldon/Moore rushing combo has become the biggest thread to MWC opponents in this young season, as the duo is trampling over opponents. Karsten Sween added a pair of touchdowns to Hoost Marsh, who had a career day, to guide the Cowboys to their 4th win of the season, their best start in recent memory.

This week the Cowboys will play host to the New Mexico Lobos. The Lobos are led by quarterback Donovan Porterie who has had a great season so far, with a lot of help from his wide receivers. Also contributed to the New Mexico offensive attack is running back Rodney Ferguson who is at the top of the MWC in rushing. The Lobos are 3-2 on the year, with their most recent game against BYU, where they were handed a loss 31-24.
