Re: COVID-19 - v2

Here's a link to a video taken by a fluid dynamicist and mechanical engineer at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). If you scroll down a bit you'll see the video. It shows what wearing a mask can do. Pretty amazing stuff. https://www.nist.gov/blogs/taking-measure/my-stay-home-...

I, uh, think we're going to run the ball this year. lol! If the O line stays healthy, I think it is possible a new single season rushing record could be established by Valladay. In 2016 Brian Hill ran for 1860 yards. I think Valladay could break the 2,000 yard mark this year. Gonna be fun to watch.

Re: COVID-19 - v2

The states hit hard early on are recovering, meanwhile the Bible Belt and other places are now getting nailed by it. Dumb question, but is Florida considered Bible Belt? Either way, they're up an insane amount in new cases the past couple of weeks. My wife and I are at our home in Florida, and I ca...

Re: MWC Impact With 23 Cal State U. Campuses Not Reopening in the Fall?

This whole fiasco hinging on testing is a failed experiment before it even starts. The few studies out there state that they think the PCR tests (accurate to 100% under ideal conditions) only have a 66% to 80% sensitivity in the real world. That means that 1 in 3 people who receive a negative test r...

Man oh man, I am so stoked to see this team on the floor. Give this program a year or two and the AA should be once again packed to the rafters. This is the beginning of the resurrection of Wyoming basketball.

Re: COVID-19

I have a personal story about COVID-19. My daughter fell ill about 4 days ago. She is 41, and in good health. She developed a fever, tightness in her chest, cough, and some other issues. She lives in Colorado. She called the ER and they said to come in. They asked her some ridiculous questions (over...

This is the class that will turn this program around! Great day to be a Cowboy :thumb: +1 I sincerely hope for a time in the near future when the AA is packed, the Pokes are riding high, and men's basketball is something we all look forward to. Welcome to all the new Pokes. It is a great day to be ...

Re: Greg Milton & Tyler Morman

The timing is interesting, given that Linder has now had time to speak with all the players individually. Either coach doesn't see them as a fit, or they didn't like what he had to say. Both are fine with me. Yep, I agree. If they don't want to be here, then a transfer is definitely a good move for...

Re: Spring Football - Unlikely

There is some good to this. We are going to learn alot about keeping the economy going when people can't go into the office. We are also going to learn how to stop a pandemic before its critical - like the spanish flu. And maybe, just somehow, we can figure out how to reel in the media to keep peop...

I can tell you one thing, if I were king for a day, I would let Burman know his job is on the line and if he swings and misses with this hire, he is gone, gone, gone.

There are some who keep forgetting that Edwards has been a part of this system for 9 years, 5 as an assistant to Shyatt, and the last 4 as head man. His right hand man, baby Shy has been in the system the same amount of time. In those 9 years this team has regressed to one of the worst in modern his...

Re: VS Nevada, Thursday 930pm CBSSports Network

So I wake up this morning and look at the scores on ESPN and holy Sh#t, POKES WIN!!! The Cowboys are 2-0, with a chance, maybe slim, but still a chance to gut this out and finish the tourney at 4-0, and do something no other team has done before, go to the Big Dance with an 11-23 record, haha. Props...

Re: Back to the topic at hand....

Linder's used to having a shorter team. He has three 6'9" guys, one 6'6", and the rest under 6'4". His teams at least seem to rebound which would be a major improvement. He also can recruit Colorado. I guess he would be about the best available, because most coaches worth a Sh#t won't want anything ...
