Re: Mwc tourney expectations.....
The negatives: 1. SDSU spanked us twice earlier this year. 2. A lot of our guys have zero MWC tourney experience. 3. No fans cancels the home court advantage Wyoming usually brings to the tourney. 4. SDSU beat us with Ike in the line-up. 5. SDSU isolates Thompson to expose his defensive weaknesses....

Re: Casper Star - Not Doing University Favors
It's just a microcosm of media in today's and in age. Most of it is misleading CRAP. Yep - that is correct. Hell, if any of you want a laugh, subscribe online to "Laramie Live". It is really "Laramie From Two Days Ago" - but they have the same agenda, and similar headlines. It i...

Re: Happy for the team
I thought Marble was a recruiting bust at the beginning of the year but I'm delighted to be wrong. He will make a positive dent in the Wyoming record books before he's done here. Impressed with Foster and Milton as well. Very solid foundation of players who could make some serious noise with the add...

Fun team to watch. Played reserves mostly last night who are almost as good as the starters. Lyman WY's freshman standout McKinley Bradshaw scored 26. Future looks very bright. Still don't know how they dropped one to SD State by 27.

Re: Bold Decisions Must Be Made To Take Wyoming Football To The Next Level
I guess I'm seeing our offensive woes a bit different than running versus passing or changing schematics from smash mouth to finesse. Execution is the number one obstacle keeping the offense from moving the chains. Bohl's offense is predicated and dependant on "fundementals" that come from...

Re: It's not getting better
I would be curious how different it would be if Lil Shyatt was at the helm, maybe we'll see soon enough, what is AE's buyout Please for the love of the flying spaghetti monster, do not ever say anything like this again. Get rid of this entire staff and bring in a group of competent coaches. +1 Shya...

Re: Idaho St game thread
Still curious to see how Mormon, Foster, and Turner pan out. Their initial impact may be erratic but might provide some spark that changes the tempo and effectiveness of this offense. I thought Thompson's early points from going inside on the give and go and pick and roll was a sign the coaches lit ...

Re: Cowboys @ Aztecs thread
Chambers should be our number one running back. He is not QB material but can run the ball effectively. He fumbled against Tulsa that cost us the game. He threw a sad attempt of a pass that was intercepted tonight that cost us this game. He is not the answer at QB. Like his spunk and running ability...

Re: Legerski choke job
Wih Joe Legerski we'll never suck green donkey dick balls in conference. We'll also never taste the sweet smell of success en route to an NCAA tourney bid. Mediocrty wins, this is the best we'll ever do. No surprise you did'nt get the Utah job eh Joe? Don't take it out on us. Yes, he applied.

Seriously hate to say it but typical Joe choke job. poop. Out couched by a second year coach from bumstock wherever. He'll never be any better than this so let's enjoy being close but no cigars.

Re: Wyoming @ Denver
A few more rebounds, free throws, and chip shots would have changed the outcome. As crappy as we played we were still in it to the end, kinda. We actually should have been blown out if it wasn't for the turnover margin. From a fan's perspective it seems simple. * Stop running away from offensive reb...

Re: Thoughts on Cowboy Basketball
Don't really want to get into the middle of this one but...historicaly speaking, Brandon Ewing is the best point guard in Wyoming history. I'm not going to reference the stats because anyone with an ounce of motivation can find them. Please consider his coaching. He was a scoring machine the likes o...

Re: Wyoming vs DePaul
Very similar to our football team. Young, loose, wild, sporadic, intense. They'll lose a few they should win this year but not because of lack of hustle. There's a price to be paid for playing up tempo when your not quite loaded with up tempo players. We're getting there though, and I can live with ...

Re: Poinsettia bowl thread
As painful as the interception was, if it weren't for Josh's earlier throws we wouldn't have been in a position to win anyway. You gotta "dance with the one that brought ya". He's young, he's a loose canon right now and he's a gunslinger in a Brett Favre-like persona. So we take the good w...

Re: We've got a Mountain to climb!
Were at a crossroads with both football and basketball. Two or three years ago I thought we finally broke the competitive curse for both programs. Bohl and Shyatt seemed to be the saviors that would not only win but stay in Laramie throughout their golden years. Love 'em both but have to wonder if I...
