This is probably my favorite Christmas Carol.

But, at the same time it's sad. I just hate that everyone can't be home for Christmas because I've never missed a single Christmas of not being home.

I watched the end of the game last night. I wish it would have turned out better for the Pokes.

How many of you boys and girls grew up on a ranch? That would have been the

ultimate dream come true for me. Getting to have gone on a cattle drive would have been something I could only dream about. I grew up when Western TV shows and movies were tops in the nation. If you did grow up on a ranch please describe your experience.

I love reading about the Westward Expansion in the American West.

Any good non-fiction books you guys can recommend relative to the Westward Expansion and by that I mean first hand accounts by settlers heading out west and the hardships they endured. Plus, good books about real characters of the west like Calamity Jane, Wild Bill Hickok, Doc Holiday and famous gun...

Re: Bowl season wrap up and NC

Honestly, I watched much fewer bowl games than in the past. The games I sat down for were largely pretty boring and I ended up not watching the whole game. There were some really good games too that I enjoyed. That Utah game was pretty wild and I actually enjoyed the Fiesta Bowl as well. I guess MW...

Folks, Snowy Range is in great shape per the e-mails

I'm receiving. That's a nice Christmas gift to all of you of you snow skiers. I use to love to snow ski but haven't been in years. If I lived near Snowy Range I would be there in a heart beat, I can tell you that.

And BTW, Merry Christmas to all.
