Re: UW Block Grant Budget Amendment

So have you and Lander ever stepped foot in a classroom at UW? You guys are so sure of what’s going on in there.

Re: UW Block Grant Budget Amendment

You guys crack me up. Half of you that are so sure indoctrination is happening have surely not stepped foot in a classroom at UW. Is there goofy poop going on in some classes and with some professors? Duh…it’s been that way for about forever. Did you watch Oppenheimer? Last time I checked there was...

Re: UW Block Grant Budget Amendment

Folks need to tell our legislators to stay in their lane. It’s a sad states of affairs when our legislature is so anti intellectual that they think they need to control the curriculum at UW. Unbelievable.

Re: UW Block Grant Budget Amendment

I have mixed emotions. If schools in general would educate students rather than indoctrinate them then I suppose I might have more concern. You could blow up (not literally - figuratively) the whole College and University system, and outside of athletics……..I’m not sure I’d be real bothered. You ne...

Re: Craig Bohl's Legacy

Looks like I missed some stuff with the number of conference games too. But honestly, there’s still so many changing variables that I don’t think affected all teams equally, especially in Bohls tenure. Divisions, no divisions, teams not playing the same suite of teams as those teams they are being c...

Re: Craig Bohl's Legacy

Got bored, and got started looking at the total percentage of our conference win's that came against AF, CSU, NM, SDSU, and UNLV from 03 to 23. Learned a few things, but that’s it. Lots of confounding things I would have to think about a lot more to draw any conclusions. Thought it would be simple. ...

Re: Craig Bohl's Legacy

If I get bored enough this weekend I’ll go tally up who we beat in conference across Glenn, DC, and Bohl individually and collectively. I’d be curious to see what percentage of our wins came against those 6 or whatever teams across coaches and across that era. I think that could be telling.

Re: Craig Bohl's Legacy

307, I can’t follow your logic past this point. You keep going back to this idea “If the jump in conference wins per year were due, in the main, to a weaker conference.... All or most of the teams in common from both eras would have experienced an increase in conference wins similar to what Wyoming ...

Re: Highlights

For sure. I would coach it too. But if I could wave a magic wand that would never be a foul for anyone. If it’s a honest shot attempt with contact, it should be a foul. If anyone in their right mind can tell a shooter would never do what they did unless it was to try and get a foul. No way. But I do...

Re: Highlights

Was kot really fouled on that 3 in OT. That looked pretty weak call unless he hit elbow good. Hard to tell. Honestly, I hate it when a shooter gets a defender off his feet and then jumps three feet sideways to initiate contact with the defender. That’s what it looked like to me in the moment. That ...

Re: The ewes

I rarely if ever read opposing teams message boards, but RamNation was a treat today. Full blown meltdown over the TO near the out of bounds. I don’t know if that was a good call or not, don’t really care. But it’s awful funny they’re so worked up about one call when Cartier clearly traveled not lon...

That was awesome! I almost headed to the garage to chain smoke all pissed off. I would’ve missed the miracle comeback. I’ve never seen anything like that.

Re: New OC should be announced soon

The rumor is Grant called plays in Tucson and it was his chance to prove himself and be considered for OC. Hearing this guy is being considered: https://niuhuskies.com/sports/football/roster/coaches/eric-eidsness/2284 Waylee is on the fence about entering the portal, and they hire would help keep h...

Re: Bohl retiring?

From what I understand Bohl is headed to Texas to head up the coaches association full time. The link I posted Cody stated as much.. Sorry, didn’t even read your post. I was just responding to the folks talking about Minnesota. I think they talked about in a podcast a couple weeks back though.

Re: Toledo game thread

Defense did a pretty good job today. Outside of the misses on the 80 yd run they only gave up 2 field goals. Got off the field on 3rd down (4-13) and there was nearly 18 minute difference in ToP. I think only 1 sack but pressures resulted in some poor throws and missed timing They did play pretty d...

Re: Jay Sawvel named head coach

If our defense doesn’t regress, then hiring Bohl as DC was a great decision. And to be fair, I’m not super concerned. I think he’ll do fine. But if the team really regresses, worse than what I thought Bohl Sr. would have done, and worse than what an external hire we could have landed would have done...

Re: Jay Sawvel named head coach

I guess in my mind, I have nothing against the process per se right now. I think it made sense in a lot of ways. I also recognize I’m an armchair QB, it’s not my specialty in life to know these things. I share some of ragtimes concerns also. I’ve seen enough nepotism in my life to at least think It’...
