Re: Conference musical chairs
The PAC-2 scenario is kind of insane, but the money may just make it happen. https://brobible.com/sports/article/college-football-loophole-gives-oregon-state-washington-state-easy-path-to-playoff-as-last-remaining-teams-in-pac-12/ Man, it is crazy. The Olympic sports are a challenge. 1 of the 2 wou...

Re: Lightning
30 minutes is ridiculous. We have thorguard lightning system at work and it uses 10 minutes since last lightning strike. I can’t remember what the distance is but I’m sure is smaller distance since one part of work will be in warning and the other side of facility isn’t. Guarantee a democrat made t...

Re: Lightning
30 minutes after last strike within 6 miles is the standard at all levels of sport in the US. All Universities have plenty of lightning tracking technology.

Re: Running Clock
While it's a small sample size still, after Week 0 the new clock rules shortened games by about 14 plays total. I don't know if 7 less plays is going to be the difference between a team being gassed or not in the 4th quarter. How many plays are there usually? According to The Athletic, the average ...

Re: Running Clock
The longer Wyo has the ball, the less the other team has the ball. That means the other offense has less time to score. I'd say it is a net positive for us, especially if our defense is as strong as we hope.

Re: Climate crisis?
And who gets to be the arbiter of "when they're wrong on data"? When looking at Covid (per your inference), there is no hard consensus one way or the other. If you were to take scientists to trial for this stuff, 2 things would happen. 1) You would be disappointed as there is no way a fair...

Directly from your post: "any scientist who doesn't is blackballed and shunned".
That's conspiracy theory. You quoted it, not me.

Re: Climate crisis?
I mean, twitter has turned into pure poop. Getting death threats, rape threats, threats of harm to your family, and overall doxing is rampant now. A friend of mine who had a decent following recently ended up deleting her account after Nazis started sending her pictures of her son's school (she's J...

Re: Like Clockwork - Season Derailed with Fall Camp Injuries
Both seem to be prone to injury. McNeely too. This stinks! I like Pellisier and Coors Have to start wondering about if there is something about our program which leads to a greater incidence of injuries. Wyoming sure seems to be snake-bit. Bohl has a very old school mindset: use camp to break the p...

Y'all are funny. Next you're going to say that the sun revolves around the earth. I'll take the word of the 97%+ of climate scientists that agree on the issue instead. https://climate.nasa.gov/faq/17/do-scientists-agree-on-climate-change/ Quick easy question: do you believe gmos are safe? Yes

Re: Somewhat political but relating to realignment...
I don't think there are a ton of liberals running football teams and athletic department. Even if there were, money talks. I'm sure Penn State will say they can buy plenty of carbon credits with the $60 million they get in TV revenue every year. It greatly devalues the claim of urgency. There shoul...
