Re: I really hate the new era of corps and sports...

I don't watch much MLB, but now definitely won't watch any. The georgia voting law is less restrictive than some other states' in many ways. But it's Jim Crowe!!!! They want to put you back in chains! what a crock. All it did was piss people off. Now they are moving the game out of a city where it ...

Re: 2012 Helmets/Jerseys

Whatever kind of gold they were called, I didn't favor them. I don't think anyone did. They also trotted out an awful horse mascot that was supposed to replace Pistol Pete right around the time they made the switch to prairie gold. There may have been 2 people in the stands that clapped. The 2 minu...

Re: MWC Schedule Released

Perhaps the weakest home schedule for the Pokes of all time: Montana State Bobcats (Sept. 4) Ball State Cardinals (Sept. 18) Fresno State Bulldogs (Oct. 16) New Mexico Lobos (Oct. 23) Colorado State Rams (Nov. 6) Hawai‘i Rainbow Warriors (Nov. 27) We better learn how to win on the road this year, t...

Re: Xazavian Valladay, Trey Smith a formidable tandem atop deep Wyoming backfield

Provided the guys can stay healthy, our run game will once again be a strength. But it could be better with at least decent passing game.

Re: Call your shot...

Vigen (or someone on staff) could find and recruit big and mobile QBs. But they never really improved skill wise. So, will be interesting to see how the new guys do in that position.

Re: Bills bring in familiar TE for Josh

Josh has his top 2 targets from 2016 back. I don't know how much time Gentry will see on the field, but Hollister not only can catch pretty well (and knows how hard Josh can sling those balls), but he's played in multiple positions. So I imagine we'll see a bit of him this coming year. Hill seems to...

Re: I miss Hastings. GoHastings, if you want to get technical.

Agree. I also miss Blockbuster! I really liked movie rental places. I'm old fashioned, though Oh, I preferred to rent movies over going to the theaters (except for one part of my life, but that was different circumstances). And not just the newest movies either; but sometimes you just want to watch...

If you are referring to me, I thought you were a WYO fan!!??? I'd be worse than Vigen for the offense. Our O is handicapped enough; making them play 10 vs 11 sure isn't going to help.
Nah, it'd be Little Giants situation!

I miss Hastings. GoHastings, if you want to get technical.

Long time Laramie residents will remember it. Great place to pick up the latest movie, music albums for cheap, huge book selection, etc.

It went belly-up in 2016, but it was my favorite place to just go and wander around and see what they had.

Meh.

Just not much into fish, personally. I can deal with fish fillets, but that's about my limit.

Vigen specifically? Not sure. But overall, we have recruited the area a number of times. Eric Abojei, for example, is from Minnesota and Garret Crall is from Ohio. And several more from the Upper Midwest are on roster/have been on the team (Brian Hill was from Illinois).

On another note; major props to Beasely the last few weeks. Why? Guy played on a half-broken fibula since the Pats game a few weeks ago. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/nfl-bills-wr-cole-beasley-played-through-playoffs-afc-championship-broken-fibula-201548334.html And surprisingly, Beasely was one of t...

Re: Pokes in the Pros - '21 NFL Playoffs

This does not compute; https://www.yahoo.com/sports/bills-most-states-backing-them-163008306.html Who in Wyoming would root for the Chiefs? The state is usually divided between Denver and whomever gets to beat Denver. But for Wyomingites to root for the Chiefs outright, simply doesn't make sense. Th...

Re: 7th Year - Trey Smith

I don't necessarily think this is a good thing. I actually don't think he is that good of a running back. I think Titus Swen looked better than him. I haven't seen anything to indicate that Swen isn't coming back after opting out this year. But who knows. In Bohl's system, running back depth is a m...

Re: Josh Allen and the Bills

The wind was really messing with the throws and kicks. Tucker is one of the most accurate kickers and missed two. Would have been three if they hadn’t gotten those extra yards. The offense is solid but the D needs to tighten up a bit, especially vs the run Agreed. The main issue for the Bills defen...

Re: Revamp Offense?

The pass blocking certainly left something to be desired (run blocking, when not facing 10 out of 11 guys, they did fine). But another part comes down to QB coaching and WR coaching. Both of which have been issues for awhile.

Re: Josh Allen and the Bills

Yeah, for that Utah game I was an usher raising money to go on a choir trip to Hawaii. I wasn't allowed to leave or go into the bowels of the stadium to warm up (too young and stupid to not just do it anyway). Couldn't move around, either. It was torture. To make it worse I was by the Utah section ...
