Re: Indiana vs Wyoming
IU looked terrible, still won shooting less than 40% ... but ... 4th game in 6 days, against 3 ranked teams. Now they fly all night to Portland, practice tomorrow and will get hammered by St Marys if they play like tonight. They played much better Thursday through Saturday. Refs were bad for both si...

Re: Indiana vs Wyoming
My only concern for this game is Ike thinks he is bigger than he actually is. In numerous games this season he played bad against someone equally sized with length. His shot has been terrible the last 3-4 games missing point blank shots. This is going to be a very interesting game. I could see it g...

Re: I hate it's me
You are most welcome here. Personally I'd much rather see the POV of opposing fans and even some sharp repartee now and then, than the profusion of Eyores in our fan base. I just watched the Wyoming - Boise St game highlights and your home game with SDSU, last 5 minutes on YouTube ... Jeffries and ...

Re: I hate it's me
Thanks for letting me on your forum. We're glad to have you on here. As long as you DON'T say anything nice about BYU (all Wyoming fans hate BYU with a passion), we're cool with ya. BTW, I had a history professor in college (ECU; Ada, OK) that was from Indiana but he was a Purdue grad. Sadly I had ...

Re: Hoosiers...score
Indiana went 4-8 in their last 12 games (including going 2-1 in the Big 10 tourney). They were 2-7 to end the season. I'm not sure where the idea comes from that they are some juggernaut. I think the Pokes win by 7 to 10 points. I know, I'm drinking the Koolaid, but Indiana would finish no higher t...

Re: Indiana vs Wyoming
Jackson-Davis is their main guy. Going to be a good matchup. Need to keep Johnson off the boards. Based on his rebound numbers and his 55% FG percentage, he probably gets some put back for his 12 pts per game. Both guards look like they can shoot 3s. I still don't know why we don't put the irishman...

I wonder if Kansas State will try to bring Frank Martin back due to his prior success. stymeman, there is nothing I like about the transfer portal and poaching coaching ... but I am too old school

I don't like seeing that I am the most recent poster on your forum, but I have nothing but time on my hands. Believe me when I say I am not trying to take over, just looking for some pre-game discussion with the opponent. Like I have said in other posts, I think tonight is going to be a great game t...

Re: Marcus Williams
I like the old way of transferring, have to sit out a year. This transfer portal in my opinion has ruined college basketball. Where's the loyalty when players transfer within conference, yes IU has one. Every year a team averages 6-7 new players counting freshman out of 13 on scholarship. Hard to wi...

Re: What Indiana's fans think of Wyoming....
I love the basketball legacy of the state of Indiana. Plus it's a solid red state, which I like.
A red state is one reason I moved back from Arizona this past spring. The other reason was my house was 10 miles from the border. That is all I will say about that. Good luck tonight .....

Re: What Indiana's fans think of Wyoming....
IU hoops Twitter hs over 1M followers while IU football has only 100k. I’m sure no one cares, but I found that to be interesting It is unless you witness the two programs as I have since the 1960s. Remember Indiana as a state is all basketball until Peyton Manning and the Colts then football intere...

Re: What Indiana's fans think of Wyoming....
That sample of fans is very small and very poor example. Yes, there are "keyboard pounders" on all team forums. Many fans that go to the game I know, are not even on the Internet forums. As a whole the Indiana fan base respects your time, record and conference ... after all one of ours is ...

Re: One Advantage (maybe a big one) for Wyoming
Purdue plays a post up offense ... the only problem is, their center was 7'6" :) Jackson-Davis had a hard time defending his strength and height but we do have a 7'0 of the bench that does decent work. I think Ike may have trouble with JD's quickness ... I can guarantee there is no center in th...
